The baby's coming?!?! Part 1

Timeskip to 3 3/4 months.

You've recently been excited and scared all at the same time. Tomorrow is the day that you become 9 months and the day you have one class all day at school, which is gym.

You were currently sitting down at the dining room table studying for your finals test tomorrow. The test is only 45 minutes long. After the 45 minutes are up, your whole class has to head down to the gym. The good thing is that Jace is the substitute teacher and you'll be with him the whole 5 hours.
All of a sudden, Jace comes out of nowhere and he sat next to you.

Jace: Hey babe, how are you feeling?
Y/N: Excited, nervous, scared.

Jace has been very very overprotective of you these days.

Jace: It's okay. Don't stress yourself out too much on this test. You're going to do fine.
Y/N: Thanks Jace, I appreciate the encouragement.
Jace: Anytime.

Y/N: Welp imma go get some water.

You got up from the chair but then Jace sat you back down.

Jace: No you're not.
Y/N: Why not?
Jace: Y/N, this baby could come any minute or any second. He could even come right now without you knowing it!
Y/N: *Sigh* Fine. Can you get me water then please ?
Jace: Of course babygirl.
Y/N: Thanks.

Jace nodded his head then got up and walked into the kitchen.

Seconds later he came back with a water bottle.

Jace: Here you go.
Y/N: Thanks.

You took a sip then set the bottle down on the table.
Y/N: Well I think that's enough studying for today. I already know all of this stuff.
Jace: Yeah, you need to go lay down.
Y/N: Yup, I'll be on the couch if you need me.
Jace: Okay, lemme help you.
Y/N: Thanks.

You slowly got up holding your stomach as Jace helped you walk to the couch. You slowly sat down and then lied down. Jace grabbed your water bottle and set it down on the coffee table infront of you.

Jace: There you go, call me if you need anything okay babygirl?
Y/N: Gotcha Jace.

Jace smiled and bent down to your level and kissed your forehead and left the room. You were so sleepy. You took your water bottle from the table and lazily drank it. You were starting to fall asleep during the process. What you didn't know is that you spilt the water on the couch and the bottle fell rolling under the couch.

34 minutes later....

You woke up from your little nap still tired. You look at the time and see that it's 7:32 PM. You wanted to get some icecream and cheese since that is what you're craving.
As you were about to get up, you felt something wet on the couch. You looked down and saw water on the couch. You started to freak out. Your eyes widened and your heart rate started to pick up speed.

Y/N: Oh- oh my god! Is- is he coming?!?!

You slowly got up from the couch and held your stomach. But it wasn't hurting.

Y/N: J-Ja-JACE?!?!?

Not even 5 seconds passed and Jace was already there.

Jace: WHAT HAPPENED?!

Y/N: I think my water broke!!
Jace: WHAT?!?!
Jace looked at the table and looked back at you.
Jace: Does your stomach hurt?
Y/N: No.
Jace: What happened to your water bottle?
Y/N: It's on the table?

You looked on the table and saw it wasn't there.

Jace: Did you drink it before you fell asleep?
Y/N: Yeah.

Jace looked under the couch and sighed and picked up the water bottle.

Jace: *Sigh* You spilled and dropped it on the ground baby.
Y/N: I don't remember that happening. I was so tired.
Jace: You scared me.
Y/N: I scared myself too. Thank god not tonight.
Jace: Yeah true. We'll be ready for whatever comes at us.
Y/N: Yeah I just hope so.
Jace: Don't worry, we will.
Y/N: That's good to hear.

You started to slowly walk away into the kitchen.

Jace: Where are you going?
Y/N: To the kitchen.
Jace: To do what?
Y/N: To get some icecream and cheese.
Jace: Why?
Y/N: Cuz that's what I want.
Jace: *Sigh* Ohhhh you and these weird food combinations.
Y/N: Hey! It's what I want so let me have it. *Laughs*
Jace: I understand babygirl, but you need to sleep after you eat that.
Y/N: Yeah I am. I'm still tired and I have school tomorrow.
Jace: You mean we have school tomorrow.
Y/N: Yeah, we have school tomorrow. *Laughs*

Jace: It's a really big day tomorrow.
Y/N: Yup.

Timeskip to the next morning....

You woke up at 6:50 AM feeling fully rested. Knowing that the baby could be born any time today.

Timeskip after taking a shower, brushing your teeth and getting dressed....

You went downstairs and saw Jace siting down on the couch wearing sweatpants and a sweater.

Y/N: Hey babe.
Jace: Hey babygirl, how you feeling?
Y/N: I feel fine, just a little nervous but I feel okay.
Jace: That's good. You better eat something before we leave.
Y/N: Okay.

You went into the kitchen and grabbed a granola bar.

You went upstairs, grabbed your backpack and phone and went back downstairs.

Y/N: Okay Jace I'm ready!
Jace: Okay let's go.

Timeskipkekrkdsjhsjsnsnsskdnbssnekd.....

You and Jace entered the school and you went straight to your locker and Jace followed you.

Y/N: Welp I gotta get to my testing room soon, and you gotta get to the gym.
Jace: Yeah, please be careful going up and down the stairs babygirl. I'll see you in an hour okay?
Y/N: Don't worry, I will see you in an hour.
Jace: Okay, love you.

He kissed your forehead.

Y/N: Love you too.

Jace walked away and went down to the gym and you closed your locker and  started walking to your testing room.

On your way there, you saw your friend Maya.

Y/N: Hey Maya!
Maya: Oh hey Y/N it's so great to see you again.
Y/N: Me too, what's up?
Maya: More like what's down! Your stomach got so big! When's the baby due?
Y/N: Today actually! I'm 9 months today.
Maya: Wow!! I can't believe this. I can't wait. This is going to be a miracle. What are you having?
Y/N: A boy, my water is supposed to break at 11:47? I don't know why such a specific time.
Maya: Awww and oh wow, very specific.
Y/N: Yup! I'm nervous but I think I got this.
Maya: Yeah, I know you do. Well I better get to my testing class.
Y/N: What room are you going to?
Maya: 316, how bout you?
Y/N: Ahhhah same! Let's go. Oh yeah and also Jace is the substitute teacher for gym.
Maya: Wow really?!?! That's great! I heard that your class has gym the whole school day so you'll be with him. This is perfect just for when the baby comes.
Y/N: Yup it is. Let's go.
Maya: Okay!

You and Maya walked up a flight of stairs and into your testing room.

You walked in and sat down next to Maya in the back row. Then the bell rang to start testing.

Y/N: *Sigh* Here we go.
