"Are you coming or not?" I walk back into the bus and stand there with my hands on my hips as if I'm Charlie's girl waiting for him.
"I'm coming baby" he says sarcastically and we both laugh.

We begin to walk down one of the many sidewalks in the Big Apple talking about the most random things. I'm not saying I'm not enjoying it, it's just Aspen is on my mind like every day.

"Shawn. Shawn" I hear snapping and my name being called.
"Yeah?" I say trying my head towards Charlie's direction.
"Your in a daze. What's up?" He asks concerned.
"I don't know really" I plainly answer.
"Okay Shawn" we keep walking and I begin to look at all the billboards. All the neon colors lit up with advertisements of stores and products. But then I see a certain one that catches my eye.

"Charlie it's my song!" I say smiling wide while pointing at the billboard that has my song "Mercy" on it.
"Aye man that's amazing!" He comments.
"Can you take a picture for me?" I ask and hand him my phone. He nods his head and I stand in front of the billboard while pointing and I have a surprised but weirded out face on. I hear my camera shutter and I walk back over to him.
"Thanks man" I say to Charlie. I post it on Instagram and Snapchat and we head on our way once again.

Aspen Montgomery

"Jason you ready?" I call out to him wherever he is in the apartment.
"Yeah hold on a second" he shouts back.

I asked Jason if he wanted to come with me to go shopping but it might all end up with me window shopping. I hear footsteps coming towards me and he walks right towards me.
"Are you ready?"
"Yep" I say while shaking my head up and down. We walk out and lock the door.

We begin to walk on the sidewalk and I immediately see American Eagle. I wave Jason to come with me and we head in. I start to look around and I see Jason picking up something.

"Can you try this on?" He asks holding up a maroon laced romper.
"Yeah. It's cute" I agree taking it from him and start to look around again.

I end up finding a loose grey sweater, white ripped jeans, a navy crop top and of course the romper Jason found. I head into a dressing room and try on the romper. I fell in love with it. I step out of the room and stand in front of Jason.

"Absolutely beautiful" he says in awe. I cover my face as I peak at him and see he is smiling like crazy. I head back in and grab everything else because I know it'll all fit. I head to the cash register and place everything down. I grab my wallet from my back pocket and search for my credit card and before I knew it I hear the crinkle of a bag and l look up and my eyes dart to Jason.

"Why'd you do that?" I ask him while we walk out.
"Because I wanted to" he said simply. I huffed. We start to walk by other stores and I look up at the billboards.

'Shawn's song is on a billboard. Wow' I say in my head. I shake the thought out and kept walking along with Jason until I saw something I didn't want to.

'Oh. My. F***ing. God' I say quickly in my head and begin to panic a little bit.

"Aspen what's wrong?" I hear Jason's voice as a hand is placed on my back.
"No-nothing" I stutter.
"Aspen" he says sternly. I point my finger in his direction and I hear a soft gasp come from Jason.
"Oh Aspen" he says. I quickly realize Shawn is walking towards my way but not with the boy he was with.
"Jason please leave. I don't care where just text me where you are after okay?" I ask.
"Bu-"
"Please" I say turning towards him. He nods his head and walks away quickly. I turn back around and I am met with a tall boy with curly brown hair, that was early on known as my boyfriend and now currently known as my ex.
