Three Years Later

Bellamy's growing so fast.

"Sis" Mj called me while I watch my son play.

"Oh sis kumusta?" As of now isang taon na silang kasal ni Dave and I'm happy for them. Nakakatuwa lang talaga na sila ang nagkatuluyan.

My business is fully handled by Ash by now. Umuwi sila ng buong family nila dito sa Pinas for good. Kasi namimiss na raw ni Tita Kyla ang Pilipinas.

I'm good friends with the whole family but to one person.

We broke up three years ago matapos yung insidente with Laureen.

Napag desisyunan ni Ash na saluhin yung responsibilidad ng Kuya Elli n'ya sa business namin. And he said yes without hesistation sa proposal ni Ash.

He left like that.

No reason on why he suddenly wants to break up with me. I asked him if it was because of my choices.

Sabi n'ya naiintidihan n'ya na kailangan kong piliin ang anak ko at all cost.

He even said I should make the choice if I think it's right. He said he loves us.

But all those words meant nothing when he said nothing but let's stop this shit I'm tired.

Ganon lang, he left me hanging ng ganon lang. I had enough of people leaving me kaya siguro hindi ko s'ya hinabol. Hindi rin ako nagmakaawa sa kanya.

Pero hindi naman ako masamang tao na idadamay ang pamilya n'ya. They're nothing but nice to me. Lalo na yung mga kapatid n'ya. I grew so close with Abraham and Gabriel.

And of course Ash.

As for Elliot. He's somewhere we all don't know. Madalas s'yang out of town, we barely see him but when we do he's all quiet and cold.

S'ya pa yung may gana na maging ganon. I tried to ignore him all these years but I couldn't. Kaya minsan I stalk his SNS and I saw nothing.

"I'm good, kayo?" I replied.

"He's back, again, nandito s'ya all of a sudden and he's talking to Dave" she revealed. Parang he-who-must-not-be-named ang peg ni Elli. Everyone's so careful in naming him in front of me.

Ang sabi ko naman sa kanila na okay lang ako. And I am really fine.

If ayaw na n'ya talaga edi ayaw. Hindi na ako mag-mamakaawa ulit sa isang tao. I've had enough with Greg. Naubos na n'ya kaya wala na akong nagamit kay Elli.

"I don't care Mj, let him be" I said tired of him.

"Kahit na ikaw pinag-uusapan nila?" I admit I'm a bit shock, after three years he suddenly wants to talk about me? Why?

"I'm eavesdropping right now" she whispered, she's a lawyer for crying out loud.

"Mj, seriously?" I said whispering to, baka kasi naka loud speaker pa s'ya!

"Omg omg you won't believe what I just heard!" Sabi n'ya, I'm now starting to get curious.

"Ano?" I said impatiently

"Laureen's going to transfer in a mental institution" she said.

She's been in prison for three years now, natuluyan na pala s'ya. I don't know kung maaawa ako or ano.

Kidnapping and attempted murder yung mga naging grounds n'ya.

S'ya mismo yung bumaril kay Elli noon.
