JANUARY 14 2017: CONTINUATION: HENRY TIBOUT
Even during this hostage situation, the only thing I could think about was Tania's safety. Where could she be?
I felt panic coursing through my veins as one of the masked men that had fired shots in the air approached me.
"Are you Henry Tibout?" I smirked at his question, "Who want's to know?" The man replied to my sarcasm my smashing his pistol against the side of my head.
I could feel pulsing through my head and the side of my ear was bleeding when I reached up to hold my head.
He pulled me up by my jacket until I was standing, "Put your hands on your head."
I prepared for the bullet that would enter my body as he placed his gun against my back. "Now walk."
I walked quickly, stumbling as he shoved me with his gun. We walked towards the Information Desk.
He shoved me once more, causing me to ram my hip into the corner of the desk. I winced in pain as he put me in a choke-hold.
He placed the gun on my temple and called out to the woman working there.
"Hey lady! You, get up." She slowly stood with her hands raised, "P-please don't hurt me."
He laughed cynically, "As long as you cooperate, I have no reason to. I need you to give me the room number of Tania Orly."
The woman quickly typed the name onto her computer and her eyes caught mine.
I silently begged her not to give him the room number but, by the fear in her eyes, I knew it was inevitable.
"R-room 459." The man released me from the choke-hold and I felt the gun against my back once more.
"Walk, punk." I hesitantly walked towards the elevators that he was pushing me towards. Once we reached the elevators he pressed the "UP" button.
The ding of the elevator arriving sent chills down my spine, knowing that we were headed up for Tania because whoever this psychotic masked man was, wanted her.
The elevator door opened and he shoved me hard causing me to go off balance.
I stumbled into the elevator, falling on the ground. I stood up and adjusted my pants and that's when I felt the pocket knife that Gentry had given me.
One open opportunity arose as I was standing up.
For a millisecond the man turned away from me to press the elevator button and I took the chance to stab him right in the neck with the knife.
His gun went off a few rounds as the shock of being stabbed registered in his body.
The elevator door closed as his body fell limp. I kicked the side of his leg to see if he was dead before reaching down and taking the gun from his hand.
As I put the knife back in my pocket, the elevator dinged at the fourth floor.
Slowly, I stepped out and examined the hallway. It seemed empty and quiet and carried a certain eeriness to it.
I took the safety off of the gun and started to make my way towards room 459.
With my luck, room 459 had to be the room farthest from the elevator. I heard the elevator ding and heard the sound of male voices talking. I guess they found their dead partner.
I opened the door to Tania's room slowly so that she wouldn't get startled.
When I saw her sleeping I felt a sense of relief knowing that she was alive and well. I walked over to her and slowly shook her body.
