Bellamy's POV

School had now started to become it's usual cycle, when the same things happen over and over again and there was no escaping it. Except now, it was homecoming season and everywhere you looked, someone was getting invited to it. That was the only minor change in this never ending cycle.

I walked into chemistry this morning before anyone else did. That's just what I did for whatever class I had during my first block. Mr Jaha didn't pay any mind to me walking in early, I think he had gotten used to it since it was already October and I been doing it since the first day.

Within the next 15 minutes, the rest of the students had filed in and Clarke took her seat next to me.

Ever since Finn, Raven and her came into my house to talk about the party, Clarke and I hadn't spoken a word that was non-chemistry related. That was what we agreed on.

Sometimes we would still snap at each other while we were trying to work but we didn't like or trust each other so it was to be expected.

In the hallways, we would walk past each other like we weren't even there, almost like looking through a ghost. Occasionally, I would glance back at her after she walked by me. I could never explain why I did it, it just happened.

I had been lucky that she never noticed, well at least I'm pretty sure she never noticed.

Today in chemistry, we had to start the first part of our lab which would be the first of three parts. All we had to do today was create the mixtures correctly and label them.

While we had been working, Clarke had noticed that our individual beakers were not labeled so we had no idea which chemicals were in which. That wouldn't have been a big deal but we didn't have our pre-lab notes.

"Clarke, how are we going to tell which one is which?" I asked, looking between the many beakers at our lab station.

She shakes her head and puts down her pencil, "Maybe we would know if you actually wrote down the pre-lab notes."

"We were both supposed to write down pre-lab notes," I pause, "Where are yours?"

"I didn't bring them because you were supposed to have them," She argues. I can't believe we are fighting over this and we are probably going to fail this lab anyways.

I slide the beakers onto the table, "You ever hear of back up plan?"

"Bellamy, it was your responsibility!" She yells, accidentally smashing one of the beakers.

Everyone in the classroom was looking over to us right now, including Mr Jaha but I could care less, "I'm sorry I didn't get the memo that I was the only one who was going to be taking pre lab notes," I pause for a quick second to catch my breath, "Besides, Miss Valedictorian, aren't you always supposed to be prepared?"

Clarke stays silent but glares at me and refuses to break eye contact. My heart was beating incredibly fast because I knew everyone was watching this go down.

Mr Jaha walks up to our table and slams his hand onto it, he looks very angry but speaks with a quiet, stern voice, "Both of you clean this up right now and get the hell out of my classroom! Be in this room directly after school today or you will receive a zero on this lab."

Clarke and I cleaned up our station and were out of the room fast. There was still 35 minutes left in this block so there was nothing but time to kill now that we had been kicked out.

After shutting the classroom door rather harshly, I looked over to Clarke to say something but she had turned the other way and sped down to the other end of the hallway, towards the main lobby.
