A few months went by and sessions with Dr. X were going great. But I could tell something was getting under his skin. The girls and I were eating lunch, discussing things. "Yo, Dr. X fine as fuck. That dick could cure me I bet!" Rochelle said. Everyone laughed in agreeance with her. I groaned in annoyance and continue eating. "I still find it sad that his ex killed herself. What a sweet guy. He doesn't deserve all that pain." Bree said shaking her head. "It's like you can see the pain written all over his face when he talks to us sometimes."
Christianna added. What? I was baffled. He never told me anything about an ex. Let alone suicide. Why am I the last to know about this? "Hey, what about his ex? I had no knowledge of that." I asked Christianna. "Yeah, he told all of us when we first got here individually. He says it's why he's going so hard for us and many, many others." She answered. My face fell on the floor.
Now why didn't he tell me this when he gave me his almighty speech the first time we met? Did he just forget to mention it? We finished up lunch and I had my own plans to follow. "Come in." Dr. X said. I walked in there heated, how could he not tell me something so personal, something that could've helped me understand who he is as a person better. "So Robi, huh?" I said as I sat down. You should've seen his face.
He knew he was caught. "...I uh. I was. Um." He stammered. I scoffed. "Unbelievable. You tell everyone else except me? Why do I get treated differently?" He had no words. Complete and utter silence. I shook my head. "Wow and you don't care enough to have an answer for that. You know what? Fuck you. I want a new doctor." I said as I was walking out. "Because I've fallen in love with you." I heard him say lowly. I instantly turned around. "What?" I questioned. He sighed and said, "Please come back in and shut the door."
