----------(Lilly ' s pov)--------

I don'don't know what's taking Nick so long. After a long wait I texted Nick; 'We are gonna shop again. text me when you're done and I will tell you where we are,'.

"Ok guys, let's go," I said.

"Wait... What about Nick?" Jack asked.

"He is going to catch up with us," I replied unsure about what I just said. We continued to go through store after store and continued to buy stuff. I found it funny how much stuff we could buy.

----------(Nick's pov)--------

"Maddie!" I screamed.

I dashed over to her. She was sitting there with her head in her hands. I could hear quiet sobs escaping her. I knelt next to her.

"Maddie are you ok?" I asked.

no reply.

"Please reply Maddie. I just want to make sure you're ok." I pleaded.

She lifted her head and spoke softly but firmly, "Go away, I don't want to talk to you,"

As if he knew something was up, a tall muscular guy, with medium brown hair and blue eyes walked over to us.

"is everything ok here?" He asked. his voice was so deep.

Maddie stood up and faced him and I followed suit.

"Yeah, everything's fine," She told him while sniffling.

"Maddie you're crying. Why are you crying? Did this guy do something to you?" The guy asked.

"No, I... I'm fine," Maddie replied while the guy wrapped his arm around her, "He's just a.... ummm.... friend,"

She didn't seem so sure when she said the word friend. that made my heart break a little.

"Who are you?" I asked the guy.

"It's none of your business right now. I can tell Maddie doesn't want you here now so I'm going to ask you nicely to leave," The guy said.

"Not until I make sure she will be safe," I replied. I was worried for her.

"She will be fine. now please leave, this is your last warning," The guy said.

"I..." I started but I was interrupted by Maddie.

"Guys, Don't... please.... just don't...." she said through sniffles and heavy breathing.

"Maddie I...." I started again. I was stopped by Maddie saying "I just want to go without anyone getting hurt. Lets go Don, bye Nick. Glad to know what we had meant nothing to you,"

Those last words stung me even more and with that her and Don left.
