Friends? Enemy?

---------(Lilly's pov)----------

I was standing by my car, which just happened to be a blue bmw, with my boyfriend, Andy. He had a band and he was the lead singer. We kissed for a while, just standing there by my car.

"I.... have.... to.... go...." I said between kisses.

"come on.... just a little... bit... longer..." He said.

"sorry," I said pulling back, "I have plans,"

I gave him a quick peck and then got into my car. He went to his car, which was parked next to mine. I have recently decided to own my money. I used a lot of money and bought nice things and got a boyfriend. I didn't need Maddie. If she doesn't want to be my friend then I don't want to be hers. I was currently going to my favorite spot in the woods. it was this big clearing of space surrounded by trees. I was going to go meet my friend, Matt, there.

"Hey Matt," I said as I ran to him.

He was lying in the grass in the middle of the clearing and I just joined him.

"Hey Lilly," He said.

"You got it?" I asked him.

He turned his head to look at me and said, "Ofcourse. I have a lot,"

He sat up and pulled out a couple of bags from his backpack. I sat up next to him.

"Here," He said handing me a bag, "I was thinking today would be a good day for a smoke."

I just smiled at him and we started smoking.

The next day at school I didn't see Maddie anywhere. Until I got to the cafeteria. She was sitting at our table, with her head low, eating her food. She was wearing a hoodie and jeans with black converse allstars. I walked over to her and sat next to her.

"Hey Maddie," I said.

She didn't answer just kept her head down with her hood over it.

"Are you ok?" I asked her quietly. That's when I heard it.

Some kid in the back yelled, "Slut! Maddie's a slut!"

At that Maddie just stood up and ran out of the cafeteria. I wanted to follow her but I thought that would make it worse for her. So I just sat there.

I ran towards the front door but didn't make it before I started balling my eyes out. I sunk down next to a few lockers and hid my face in my hands as I cried.

"Maddie what's wrong? Did one two many guys?" A familiar voice mocked.

I looked up and saw Lilly there. I just burried my face back in my hands.

"Look the little slut is crying," Jill said.

I stood up. my tears had gone away with that last comment. All that was left was rage. Mainly anger at Lilly.

"you know what? My mom was right about you Lilly! What happened to you! look at you! You turned into a wannabee bot! Do you even see yourself? You let your money get to your head just like you said you wouldn't! Why!? Don't you see what you turned yourself into!?" I was screaming by now.

I just couldn't help what happened next. It was like I was possessed by my anger and rage.

"Oh so the slut can speak about things other than sex," Lilly said with a smirk on her face.

I ran up to her and grabbed her by the hair. pulling her to the ground. She regained her stand position put her bag down and lunged at me. We kept going at it. Before I knew it there was a group of students screaming "Fight! Fight! Fight!" Then a little into that I had Lilly pinned to the ground. She was trying to push me off her. But then I was pulled off of her by Nick. Lilly was held back by Andy.

"Maddie, calm down," Nick said.

I didn't want to calm down. I wanted to fight her.

"No, let me go!" I screamed at him.

It only made him hold me tighter.

I calmed down a bit when I herd the principal say, "You four, my office, now! Everyone else, back to class!"

Nick led me to the principals office. By the time we got there, I was sobbing again. I didn't want to get in trouble and I didn't like getting into trouble.
