|an| yeah, it's been a while- I know.

There's a song in Hamilton, hurricane. I listened to it while writing some of this chapter, it's very underrated and generally the only words people know is the chorus:

In the eye of a hurricane there is quiet

Just for a moment

A yellow sky

So I titled the chapter after it, it's not exactly a massive feature of the chapter but it kind of fits. :) |an|

"My Lord?!"

It's was Leon's voice that peirced the trees after the scream. Arthur realised he had also been meaning to ask how the Knight had been healed so miraculously but had gotten caught up in the moment. The moment. The moment when Merlin had uttered the words...

"Arthur!" It was Percival this time. The calls sounded deafening in the silence that pursued the scream, Arthur willed them to shut up and let his thudding mind process what he had just been told by his manservant but all too soon another scream came. And another.

Merlin stood up beside Arthur as Leon and Percival burst from the undergrowth with Elyan and Medan in tow. All he could here now was screaming. It filled up every corner of his conscious. Are those the screams of someone else, Arthur managed to think, or are they my own?

"Arthur. Arthur!" It was Merlin, shaking him. Stop shaking me, Arthur thought. He felt like a child, his mind was spinning, he could only produce simple commands, let alone say anything.

"He's in shock." Elyan said, or was it Elyan who said so? He felt like someone was tearing at his consciousness now. Ripping it away from him, and yet he did not fall down. He didn't black out. Something else was holding him back. But it wasn't a comforting thing, it tugged him back with a force, denying him peace or anything, making him sit and watch with no power as his friends fumbled around him and the screams grew so loud that they blocked out any words.

Merlin shook Arthur again. Medan came to his side, "Whats wrong?" He said shakily.

"I don't know." Merlin said, painfully. "I don't know I don't know. But we are losing him."

"Look, Merlin, he's stopped responding." It was Leon now, making his way closer to Arthur, who was sitting, body pulled into knees, on the ground. Percival beckoned Medan away from the King to sit by him and Elyan. Elyan turned to meet Merlins eyes.

What happened.

I told him, and then someone screamed and he went like this.

We came to find you after we heard the scream. Gwaine went to find out what happened.

Merlin turned his gaze back on Arthur, he had to find out what was happening. He placed two fingers on each of Arthurs temples. He closed his eyes and tried to feel.

A few moments passed, He felt Leon's gaze on him, he heard swords clash somewhere in the distance but he found he couldn't seem to channel his magic. He drew away and felt through himself. And then realised. His magic was reacting to the concentrated magic of the Druid camp, the sixth sense was back. Dammit.

"Merlin, can you help him?" Percival asked.

"I need to do something first." Merlin said, grinding his teeth in determination. He couldn't afford to hide when Arthur might be in danger. He had just revealed his secret anyway- how hard could it be to go twice?
