Sylvia and Skylar Both finished the garden relatively quickly, and they are sure Linda was expecting it to take longer, but it was okay. They all went inside, sweaty, dirty and even more tired then they already had been. And that was only the first thing on the list. Tired, Sylvia pulled out the schedule again, only to see the next thing on the list. Knitting.
Sylvia nudged Skylar's shoulder and nodded at the next assignment. They groaned in unison, but they looked at each other and felt like their little brothers right about now. Maybe it was time to make use of being mages.
"Alright children, knitting may not seem like the glamorous thing in the world but it'll do a girl good." Linda says. She looks at them both in a cheerful smile, looking for response. They two girls couldn't hide the tired looks on their faces.
"IF YOU CHILDREN DON'T WAKE UP-" Linda screamed, with anger fuming from her face. Both girls jumped in fear and nod to her. The two girls knew it was going to be a long day.
It was afternoon outside, and Nuebiko qas helping set up a lookout area near the Tavern. Rosamine started to grow a little bored and figured maybe she could get a drink. She had excused herself from the work and went inside the bar. She had asked for a beer, and got a mug with creamy bubbles on top.
She takes a sip, only to realize it actually tasted good. She took sip, after all, after sip. Soon enough she had finished the beer and she stood up. And the world was alot dizzier than she remembered. She felt the urge to yell, but when she did she started to get a headache.
Nuebiko wanted a break as well so he went into the Tavern also. He saw Rosamine, but knew something was off. She couldn't hold her balance, and there was a cracked mug at her feet, probably knocked over. She was holding her head while screaming. He sighs and decides after a drink or two, he would take care of her.
Nuebiko orders a beer, but felt someone in the room was suspicious. There were five other people in the room, besides Rosamime and himself. And Rosamine couldn't possibly be doing anything, since she was drunk.
He knew to be on guard. He goes halfway through his beer, when he takes out a soberty potion and hands it to Rosamine to drink. After a few times it seemed like she would drop the potion she finally drank it. She was restored to normal in less than a minutes, and apologized to Nuebiko. Nuebiko didn't mind, but filled Rosamine on his suspicion and told her to keep her guard up as well.
Sylvia excuses herself for just a moment to go grab a potion from the position room. Luckily for her, the excuse she would give would match up. She came back to Linda and Skylar in the great room with a vial with a red substamce inside. "I have brought back an energy potion." Sylvia says. Seconds later, trip.
The vial is sent flying towards Linda, and Sylvia smirks a bit before catching her balance. The potion she actually brought, was an illusory potion. The potion when drunk or splashed, allows the person to see nothing but illusions of what is in front of her. Skylar soon catches on, when Linda says, "Why is the floor lava?!", and is sent in a panic.
Linda sadly isn't very experienced with potions, since she couldn't be bothered to remember all of them. She still wanted to get through the schedule, but now the schedule that she had written was distorted and foreign in text. Skylar just leaves her be, and signals for Sylvia to follow her upstairs so they can both wash up before any knitting could be done.
Skylar and Sylvia both decide to hang out in their room for a bit, and plan to stay in for the day. When mom comes back, they could just blame the boys.
So the day went on, quickly in fact, and evening came, as a beautiful pink and scarlet in the sky. The boys can bearly contain themselves, and decide now was the time to execute the plan. Now was the time. To see a werewolf up close and personal.
Nobu and Naru led Ori to the vent and made sure Ori had both potions, just in case, and Ori went down the vents, and went down the vent that lead down towards the entrance. Luckily, Ori can navigate and more importantly, he knows where the Tavern is. He checked if the coast was clear in case his mother returned, and he went on his way.
Naru and Nobu are very excited back in the room, but they knew Ori would use the potion when he is near the Tavern. Ori heard a distant howl, and immediately shuddered. Immediately afterward, he felt really excited. They're real. He thought.
Ori had went behind a nearby rock formation which if you looked out a little over it, you could see the Tavern, very close in fact. Ori drank the potion, and wished to sync up with the minds of his brothers. A little hum when up in his head, and then he knew he was connected.
Nobu and Naru get the message, and they drink their potions to sync up with Ori. They all were connected, and since Ori started the sync, everyone saw what Ori was seeing.
In front of the Tavern was a camp, with a few separate little tents, each with a blue fabric the holds a symbol that immediately intimidated the boys.
It was the symbol of the Greythorn Kingdom. Which meant, Dad's here. Surely, Ori could keep stealthy. Their dad stepped out front, sword in hand and seemed alert. And suddenly, Ori heard a growl. A growl that sounded like that of an animal. A real werewolf was here.
Out of one of the bushes near the camp, a wolf had pounced on one of the guards. Nobu and Naru yelled in excitement, as they were witnessing a real battle with a werewolf. Ori contains himself, yet he's extremely hyped to see a Werewolf up close.
Out of other bushes, more werewolves came and just like that, full on battle had began. The Royal Guard vs. The Werewolf Pack.
There were alot of werewolves, but none strong enough to win the battle. They all fled in retreat. But, there was one wolf in particular that hasn't fled in the direction the others had. One werewolf had ran off, but in Ori's direction. Nobu and Naru tell Ori to run, but a mere boy couldn't compare to the speed if a wolf.
The wolf had pursued the boy, and Ori feared for his life. The wolf had clawed at his arm, and Ori blacked out. Nobu and Naru disconnected and they both exchanged very scared looks. They run to the potion room and grab more telepathy potions, and they spotted a potion in a gold bottle.
The bottle had contained a very rare potion inside called The Mithril. The bottle had contained a shimmering silver like substance inside. The bottle had a little note that held a description of the potion.
It read: The Mithril Potion Restores That Of One Wish To Be Granted Instantly.
The two boys exchanged glances and nodded. They needed to save their brother. They immediately went back to their room, shut the door, fasted the locks and Noburo drank the potion. He then closed his eyes and wished for his brother, Orinaka Greythorn, to be restored to health and transported to where the caster stands.
When Noburo opened his eyes, he fell to the ground, and felt a hunk of weight on him. He could identify after multiple pig piles, it had to be Ori. Ori got up, in complete shock, and realized where he was. He calmed down and ran to hug his brothers.
Naru could feel something different about Ori. Something off. When he released Ori from the hug, he noticed a multiple scars on his arm, each looked like claws.
"Wait, Ori... What happened to your arm...?", Naru asked, his voice wavering.
"Um... I only remember running from something, and... Oh!" Ori realizes wht happened and slowly started freaking out. "I think the werewolf clawed me..." Ori says scared for his life.
