The two boys had panicked for a while knowing that there parents are going to find out soon. They figured they had a little bit of time before dinner, it was only sunset.
Naru thought about the purple aura that cane from his scar. What if it brings someone here? He thought it would be unlikely, considering there were guards outside to prevent anyone from coming in. Naru sighed, and worried about it. Ori for a few minutes started to calm down a little bit.
"Are you alright?" Nobu asked.
"What do you think?!" Ori said, enraged.
"If he did know he wouldn't have asked. That's the point of a question. Just putting it out there," Naru says. "Look, we need to find a way to hide you or something. We can't have Dad find out." Naru said, worried.
Instead of normally agreeing, Ori just snarled. "Maybe we can get a painless potion for now to survive the dinner?" Nobu suggests. "Then you won't scream or anything during dinner." Nobu says. He doesn't even wait for approval, and went to the potion room to get one.
He returns with another vial with a blue substance. He hands it to Ori, and Ori snatches it out of his hand. He chugs it, and throws it on the floor, the glass vial shatters. Naru and Nobu exchange glances. And then fear ran in the two brothers eyes. The dinner bell rang.
Skylar and Sylvia were already at the dinner table, as was Sharna and Nuebiko. After a breathtaking battle, a big dinner was definently in order. Rumbling stomachs filled the chairs. The boys came downstairs, both Naru and Nobu very paranoid of Ori's actions. Nuebiko and Sharna both sensed something up, but they were a little too excited to investigate further. Not now.
The chef had came, and in a few short minutes the table was filled with an assortment of meat. Everyone looked excited, especially Skylar and Sharna, who hadn't had lunch, but Nobu noticed Ori, had looked very intrigued. And Ori looked like he was trying to contain himself.
When everyone was plated, nothing was said. There was only happy eating. Satisfied stomachs to go around, occasional burps from the boys and sighs of pleasure from food came around in a wave in from the table. Ori, however even after all that looked like he wanted more to eat. Naru nudged him, to let him know we had to keep it hidden.
Knowing he wouldn't be able to contain himself, Ori rushed upstairs. "Guess he had to go to the bathroom or something," Nuebiko said. The two brothers sighed, and the rest of the family had said goodnight.
The moon was out, and moonlight streamed from outside. It was a full moon. Ori had walked into the bedroom, not acknowledging Naru and Nobu's presence. He went to the window near Naru's bed and stared at the moon. Nobu didn't think the situation could be any worse, not now.
But of course, it did. Ori started to cry in pain, agonized, he started clawing at himself, and he started painfully screaming and constantly catching for air. Panicked, Naru went in a corner, behind Nobu's bed, and Nobu followed him. The purple aura had returned, and it seemed to take over Ori's body. Nobu couldn't take it anymore and he ran towards him, he wanted to help him, but the purple aura had pushed him away. Ori's screams progressively got louder.
Blood started streaming from under Ori, and suddenly there was a silence, followed by an angry, animalistic growl. The purple aura had faded away, and a white-furred wolf stood in Ori's place. Thank goodness for soundproof brick.
As if set by a trigger, the wolf immediately started to run about in an aggressive manner, tearing apart the room, however not at all noticing the other two boys. With nowhere else to go, the wolf proceeds to jump out the window.
Shocked, the boys run to the window, to see where the wolf went or if it was hurt, but it seemed that the wolf had vanished. Nobu and Naru exchanged worried glances.
Sharna was rudely awakened with a sharp headache. It burned in her head, coming in short but painful bursts. She screaned in pain, waking Nuebiko up right beside her. Concerned, Nuebiko called for the maids to get the nurse to help with Sharna.
A woman with a pastel green dress had entered the room with a mint colored case, probably filled with materials for her job. It was her first time actually doing nursing on her own, before her mother died. "Hi," the nurse said. "My name is Kai, and I'm goin' to be helpin' you today." she said. Kai seemed to have somewhat of a southern accent.
"What seems to be the problem?" Kai asks.
"My wife has a headache and I need you to help take care of it." Nuebiko requests, concerned.
Kai smiles, as headaches happen to be One of her specialties. She immediately goes into her case and pulls out a small vial with a lavender liquid inside. There was a small tab inscribed with foreign lettering. She grabs a small plastic cup from her bag, puts it under the vial, and crushes the glass with her hand.
The glaas shatters and quickly turns into a fine powder, that dissolves from the liquid, making the liquid start to glow in an ominous matter. It makes its way into the cup and she offers it to Sharna. Agitated, Sharna quickly grabs the cup and chugs it down.
After a few seconds, relief flushed to Sharna's face, probably meaning the headache was gone. "Thank you very much, Kai." Sharna says.
"No problem, malord." Kai says. She bows to the King and Queen, and is escorted out with the maids. Sharna looks at Nuebiko with troubling eyes.
"That couldn't have been an ordinary headache... I felt... A trigger. It had to have been an aura. It hurt, but I could sense a deep pain, but also sense deep danger." She said.
Nuebiko rests his hand on hers in reassurance. But he knew well to take her advice, as she tends to be right about these sort of things.
Orinaka had jumped out the window, but remembers being unconscious right after, however he didn't feel like himself. Like someone else. Some thing. Else. He was laying down when he awoken from being unconscious.
He got up, to a dark room. Moonlight could be seen streaming in the circular room, giving off an eerie vibe. There were thin curtains from these windows, shifting the color to a dreary purple. Much like the one he felt coming from him earlier. He was on a bed, with only a pillow and nothing else.
He heard echoing footsteps coming from a doorway near one of the windows. Ori's head quickly shot in that direction, to see a dark door with a triangle carved into it, creating an opening to see the outside. The door opened, in a slow creaking manner, and came a man in a robe. Nothing else was depictible in such a large room, and couldn't be identified. He closed the door behind him, and the two were left in the room.
Orinaka didn't like the feeling if any of it, but he didn't want to make any sudden moves. "Who are you?" Ori asks, fervently.
The man had waited a moment to answer. "That, you will know shortly. I need you to come with me, child. I will not hurt you or harm you in any way, you have my word." the man says.
Ori didn't want to trust him or follow him, but maybe this was the way to get new information. He looks back at the man, who had opened the door, in which a hallway lit with candles could be visible. He walked to the man, and the man lets go of the door, and starts walking down the hallway.
Ori went and closed the door, and looked at the door, however something was off. The triangle that was on the other side of the door had switched to a square., and closed vision off from the other side. The square was written in a cryptic format, making Ori question what he really was getting into.
