A Babysitter

Everyone slept that night with burning anticipation of what holds tomorrow. Nuebiko seeks to kill, the boys look forward to seeing a real werewolf, and the sisters looked forward to looking for more spells to cast.

Everyone woke up early that morning. Nuebiko wasted no time getting battle gear on to face off against the creatures at the Tavern.
He woke up first, and went to the armory to gather weapons. Sharna woke up after, but she wanted to go help the townsfolk, and her chariot would arrive a little after when Nuebiko leaves.

Skylar and Sylvia were sleeping soundly, with no promises of waking up any time soon. As were the brothers. Even if both parents are gone, that doesn't mean they're going to be unsupervised.

Nuebiko gathered his battle gear and a few healing herbs from the armory and headed to the Royal Guard's post.

Rosamine had been waiting for Nuebiko at her post. Behind her led to a stairwell that went downstairs to a bunker, which housed the warriors best known as the Royal Guard.

"Wasting no time this morning, eh?" Rosamine asks.

"For the Nether? Not a second. Is everything in place?" Nuebiko said.

"Yes, my lord, I have already sent warriors to take care of the Vamps at the docks. I have some of our best warriors to comw with us on our way to the Tavern." Rosamine says.

"Good." Nuebiko says.

"One more thing... Should I have Linda watch the kids?" Rosamine asks.

"Probably." Nuebiko replies.

The warriors, Rosamine and Nuebiko started to make their way to the Tavern.

Linda, the Royal Advisor, had been appointed to babysitting. Which wasn't exactly her favorite job, but she should do it anyway.

Sharna had already gotten dressed and her chariot has arrived. She waved Linda goodbye, and went out on her duties. It was about this time, the boys had woken up.

Orinaka, despite his doubt of the werewolves surviving, he was still excited to see them. He proceeded to wake Noburo and Naruki up, and they ran over to the window as they saw their father in the crowd with marching guards.

"So, I'm guessing we follow them, right?" Naruki asks, slightly concerned.

"Duh, the question is how do we get down there quick enough to catch up with them," Ori says.

Noburo walks away from the window, and goes downstairs. Curious, Naru and Ori follow. Nobu, was going down the stairwell to the stable, where the horses stayed.

"Perhaps horses could do the job nicely..." Noburo suggests.

"Good call," Ori says, interested in the idea.

"Wait, no, we have to stay hidden! Horses aren't exactly stealthy, since they are noisy and they're really easy to spot." Naru says.

"True..." Nobu says.

"Well we have to be quick about it. Its a really rare day. Both of our parents gone? Its called opportunity, people." Ori says.

"If they are both gone, and Rosamine is with dad..." Nobu says, it all came together in their heads.

"Linda's in charge.", they said in unison.

Sylvia's headache from last night had subsided, and she seemed up for the day. Skylar was still asleep. Sylvia was hungry, so she went downstairs, to see a familiar face.

"Good Morning, Linda." Sylvia says, trying to be polite.

"Good morning, child." Linda says, monotone. She nodded her head in the direction of the kitchen. "Breakfast is on the table." she adds. She puts on a smile that was undeniably fake. Sylvia quickly walked over to the kitchen. As soon as she walked past, Linda's smile vanished.

Sylvia knew how Linda was, and she also knew she was very fickle. Sylvia herself wasn't exactly comfortable with conversation with her, so she figured she'd eat quickly.

Nuebiko's soldiers were armed with muskets, swords, daggers, healing herbs and other wapons that would bring death to nethercreatures. Nuebiko's eyes were full of rage, and they were rather scarlet, instead of it's normal hazel.

They aren't very far from the Tavern, but that haven't seen any suspicious people that might be Werewolves, but they were going to set up watch anyway. Hopefully by nightfall, they would catch a werewolf, and kill it.

All of the children had made their way to the dining hall for breakfast, and Linda had been waiting.

"Listen up brats, I'm in charge for the day, I have a schedule for all of you to follow for the day until your mother returns from her favors. Are we understood?" Linda said, very sternly

"Yes, Linda...", the children said in unison. Noburo and Naruki exchanged glances, both knowing what they were planning on doing today, and they both grinned. Sylvia saw them for a second and knew her brothers couldn't be up to any good. She immediately dismissed it, thinking they were planning a trick or prank or the like.

"Good.", her voice had perked up out of nowhere, which caught Skylar off guard. Linda then went around with a piece of paper and handed one to each of them. Orinaka looked at it and immediately dismissed it.

"Finish eating, we have garden work to do!", Linda says chipperly.

The sisters didn't mind this, since they spend alot of time in the courtyard garden anyway, but the brothers weren't exactly looking forward to garden work, or anything else listed on the schedule. Which was why, all three brothers had an evacuation plan in case something like this happened.

Naruki immediately grabs his stomach and groans, sounding like he's in pain. The other two follow suit, and share their pain to Linda. "My stomach doesn't feel so good... I think its the porridge...", Naruki says.

Linda, didn't phase, but secretly knew they would be deadweight anyway. So she went with it. "Oh dear, you all seem so sick! Why don't you three scurry upstairs and rest your heads?" Linda suggests. Soon after, the three boys run upstairs, to their room.

The three boys closed the door and immediately exchange smiles. Now they needed to find a way to escape the castle to go see a werewolf.

Linda smiles at the two girls, and tries to hype the girls up for the gardening. "Gardening! How exciting! The tulips need tending to anyway!" Linda exclaims.

Skylar and Sylvia exchange exhausted glances and both grin at Linda to try to keep from conversation. But, Linda senses alot.

"YOU'RE EXCITED RIGHT?!", Linda's face was filled with rage, but still with a very out of place smile.

The girls immediately yell, "Yes!', out of fear for their lives. Skylar knows, that Linda always seemed like she had more than one personality. And they switched constantly.

The boys were planning on how they can manage to see a werewolf. It seems they have one crafted together.

"Okay. So the plan is to let Orinaka escape from one of the vents, he runs over the Tavern without getting caught, he uses the telepathy potion to communicate with us so we can see what he sees, and then hurry back before dad gets home!" Noburo explains.

Naruki and Ori nod in agreement. They all seem very excited. Naru goes over to the potion room and grabs four telepathy potions, two for Ori, one for himself and one for Nobu.

They all seem confident in their plan, and can't wait for nightfall to execute it.
