"How about Aslina Emerald?" Lexa suggested as I walked into the living room. She had a checklist of baby names in front of her.

"Aslina Emerald? Sounds like the title of Coldplay's next album," I wiggled my eyebrows playfully at her. Jay laughed from the kitchen and Lexa let out a giggle.

"No, but honestly. What do you think?" Lexa asked.

"Sounds like a strippers name," Jay wandered into the living room with a mouthful and a plateful of pizza.

"Okay..." Lexa widened her eyes, a little pissed off.

"What have you got for boys names?" I asked.

"I like the names Jared and Scott. But it depends on whether Stewart wants to be involved," she chewed her pen and shrugged.

"Why don't you name-"

Before I could finish my sentence, my mobile began to ring from the coffee table. I athletically sprang from where I was, over the couch and landed in a heap next to the coffee table.

"Jesus, don't die!" Jay cried.

"The things I do for love," I mumbled and ignored any injuries that I'd inflicted and answered the call. Without even checking the caller ID I knew who this was.

"Bonjour my little squirrel," soft, delicate North East tones met my ears and I grinned with delight.

"Jordan!" I cried excitedly. "I miss you, baby. How was your flight?"

"It was good, thank you, hun. Pepe kept us all entertained with his antics," Jordan chuckled. "How are things with you?"

"Err..." I glanced at Lexa momentarily. "Yeah...yeah, things are fine. Babe, is Stewart with you right now?"

"Yeah. We're sharing a room. Why?"

"Is it okay if Lexa speaks to him for a bit?" By this point, Lexa had begun mouthing obscenities at me and making gestures for me to shut up. I mouthed back 'no!'. She had to speak to him now whether she liked it or not, there was no backing out of it!

"Yeah, sure. One sec," Jordan sounded confused on the other end but passed the phone over anyway. There was some shuffling and mumbling until a similar voice to Jordan's was speaking. "Hello?"

"Hey Stewart! I'll hand you over to Lexa," I thrust the phone at her and she glared at me like I was the worst person in the world. I rolled my eyes.

"Hi Stewart," Lexa tried not to sound too pissed off but failed.

"If looks could kill," Jay laughed, taking a bite of pizza.

Lexa sarcastically smiled at him and then gave him the finger. She got up and walked into my room whilst Jay laughed his head off.

For the next 20 minutes, myself and Jay listened to the in-depth conversation that Lexa was having with Stewart, all the while laughing at how serious she was being. We weren't used to her being this genuine, we only really knew the light-hearted, sarcastic Lexa.

It sounded like Stewart had taken the news pretty well. I'm assuming he had anyway, Lexa wasn't shouting or crying so I guess that was a good sign. There had been a lot of convincing on her part so he, like me, was obviously trying to get his head around the situation. After all, it was pretty big news.

I looked at Lexa sat on my bed and she was grinning like a Chesire cat.

"I know, I'm never normally one to go into a nightclub and just leave with the first guy I see-"

I let out a huge exaggerated laugh. That was so untrue it was hilarious!

She snapped her head around to look at me and narrowed her eyes.
