Chap 3: First Day of School SYDNEY & CARTER

(Sydney's POV)

"ERRR ERRRK EEREK" my alarm click goes off signaling that it's 6:30 a.m.... Time for me to get up. I put on some slippers before getting out of bed and then throw on my robe. I quickly make my bed before turning on the shower. While I'm waiting on the water to warm up I pick out my outfit for the first day of school. I grab a pair of skinny jeans, a baby pink tank top, a white cardigan, and some baby pink flats. I walk to the bathroom, strip, and hop into the shower. It took me about 15 minutes to shower and when I got out I quickly got dressed and blow dried my hair. I straightened it and then put on some foundation, eyeliner, and mascara. I don't wear that much makeup really, unless I'm going somewhere extremely fancy. I'm ready by 7:45 and me, Kinsey, and Charlie get into my car. School starts at 8:00 but we all need our schedules since we are new and I want to get to school early... I guess you can say I'm the nerdy one of the family....

-----flash forward to the end of first period-----

My first period class is english.... EWWW!! I hate this class and find it pointless, but it's okay cause this bell rings in 5 minutes and then I get to go to math.

"BBBRRRIIIIINNNNGGGGG"

Finally I'm done with this class. I stand up and gather my stuff and begin to walk to my locker. I'm walking down the hallway looking for my locker and as I turn the corner...

S- "oomf" I fall backwards onto my butt.

(Carter's POV)

C- "What the.... OMG I am so sorry" I reach out to grab the girls hand and I look at her face. She's the girl from across the street... she is absolutely beautiful! "are you okay??"

S- "Ummm I think so."

C- "Okay good! Well let me properly introduce myself. I am Carter Reynolds."

S- "Hi! I'm Sydney."

C- "What class do you have next???"

S- "Math, but first I need to go to my locker."

C- "I have math too let me walk you to your locker, yeah???"

She nodded her head yes and I mentally started screaming. She is so pretty! I kinda wanna ask her out...

----in math----

Teacher- "Hi everyone! My name is Mrs. Baxter. I know this is a math class but for the first two weeks we will not be doing any math. Everyone will partner up with someone of the opposite gender and before you ask, yes I am picking your partners. So, first let's get you guys some partners and then I will explain the assignment."

Teacher- "okay so the last couple pairs of partners are...Callie and Jake, Amanda and Jim, and the last pair Sydney and Carter. Okay everyone move to a seat next to your partner."

I could have jumped up and down for joy this is the best day ever!

Teacher- "Okay class so for the next two weeks you will work on a project in class and also outside of class. the project is for you two to get to know each other better. You have to hang out with each other for two weeks and find out what your partner likes and dislikes. At the end of two weeks you will have to present some sort of poster board, slide show, or a paper showing your classmates what you learned about your partner in these two weeks. You may begin discussing with your partner and if you have any questions feel free to ask me"

This is the best news ever! I have a reason to hang out with Sydney outside of class!!!

C- "So, do you wanna hang out tonight?"

S- "yeah, sure."

C- "Okay, where do you wanna go?"

S- "I don't know. I'm new to Louisiana so I don't know what the best places to hang out are."

C- "I know what we can do but it's a surprise. You live in Oaks villa drive right???"

S- "Umm yeah.... how did you know that?"

Nice going stupid now she is going to think your a creeper.

C- "Oh I live across the street from you. I saw you guys moving in on Saturday."

S- "Oh good! haha for a second I thought you were like stalking me."

C- "Haha! Okay so the bell is about to ring so at 3:30 this afternoon meet me outside of your house okay?"

S- "I wouldn't miss it for the world" ;)

OMG!!!! SHE JUST WINKED AT ME!!!!

"BBBBRRRRIIINNNGGGG"

We gathered our stuff and went to our next class. It turns out we have five classes together.
