Chap 9: Finishing A Project (SYDNEY AND CARTER)

Sydney's POV

After a long two weeks Carter and me are almost finished with our project of getting to know each other. We have been inseparable for the entire two weeks and he hasn't been annoying or anything. I liked him a lot when I first met him but not enough to actually date him. I mean, besides we didn't really know each other and we are seniors in high school. We have to start thinking about growing up. Growing up means eventually getting married and in order to get married I have to be in a relationship with someone who I could see myself with for the rest of my life. Carter is the person I could see myself with for the rest of my life. I know that's a scary thought. It terrifies me to even think about getting married but Carter makes me way less scared. He calms me down and when I am with him I know I would be in good hands if I were to get married tomorrow. 

So needless to say I think I am ready to actually date Carter. I hope he didn't stop liking me. I don't think he did, if he did he would stop hanging out with me all the time. Right??

Carter is over at my house right now, like he is everyday after school, and we are finishing a project that is due in three days. He is being really distracting today. I think it's because he feels like he needs an excuse to hang out with me. WHICH HE TOTALLY DOESN'T! It's friday night and this project is due monday. All of his friends and my sisters are out partying and we are at home doing homework. I guess it's kinda my fault. I don't really like to party and I hate rushing to finish a project. We are almost done anyways, the only thing we have left now is to glue the captions to the poster board. It's only six o'clock and we'll be done in less than 15 minutes if carter can focus...

S- CARTER! FOCUS!

C- Sorry! I'm just so bored. I'm tired of sitting here. I wanna do something with you.

S- *blushes* Well you are doing something with me...

kC- Okay but I wanna do something other than sit around your house. Can't we hang out as friends outside of your house?

If only you knew how badly I want to be more than friends. Especially right now. I just wanna kiss you...

S- I guess but we have to finish this first. Just help me glue everything down. 

C- UGH! FINE! I guess i can help. 😘

**FINISHED WITH THE PROJECT**

S- So Carter what would you like to do on this fine evening?

C-How about we go get some frozen yogurt and then go see a movie?

S- Okay what movie do you wanna see?

C- Well that depends... Do you wanna see a comedy or a chick flick?

S- What are the two movie choices and I'll pick from that.

C- comedy: 22 Jump Street chick flick: The Fault In Our Stars

S- Would you hate me if I said The Fault In Our Stars?

C- No! I could never hate you! And honestly I have been dieing to see that movie...

S- Carter Reynolds you just got 10 times hotter...

C- So you thought I was hot to begin with?
