Chap 8: The Date.... (KINSEY AND AARON)

KINSEY'S POV

It has been a couple days since we went to The Hangout. It is now Friday afternoon and I am spending it alone in my room. I was bored out of my mind when i got a text. It read:

AARON: HELLO BEAUTIFUL! WOULD YOU CARE TO MAKE ME THE HAPPIEST BOY ALIVE AND COME OUTSIDE OF YOUR HOUSE PLEASE??

KINSEY: UMM SURE... GIVE ME TWO MINUTES.

AARON: ILL BE WAITING.

HOLY CRAP! I look like crap from laying in bed all night... well maybe not complete crap cause lets face  it I am FABULOUS! but still my hair needs to be brushed.

I brush my hair out as I walk down the spiral staircase. I get to the front door and take a deep breath before I open the door.

Once its open I see Aaron standing at the end of my driveway with roses and a box of chocolates. Once he sees me walking toward him his face lights up with this amazing smile. 

A- Hello. You look absolutely stunning tonight. 

K- Aww well thank you. You don't look to bad yourself stud. 

A- Thank you. These roses are for you as well as these chocolates. 

K- Thank you so much but, what is all of this about?

A- Well Kinsey, I have a very important question to ask you. Okay?

K- Okay.

A- Tomorrow night at 6:30 I am going to come over here in a very nice suit. My parents are going to give me the car and the driver. Now at 6:30 I would like to walk up to your front door and ring the doorbell and have your dad answer the door. Now I am hoping that you are willing to be in something absolutely beautiful so that I can take you out on a date to the amazing restaurant "August". So the question is will you, Kinsey Horten, please accompany me on a date?

K- Oh Aaron, I would love to! 

A- Okay great! I'll be here 6:30 sharp tomorrow afternoon. 

K- Okay see you then!

OMG I CAN'T BELIEVE HE WANTS TO GO ON A DATE WITH ME!!! 

I walked back into the house to tell my mom and Sydney. I found them in the kitchen. Sydney was sitting  on the kitchen counter and my mom was cooking dinner for us. I practically ran in smiling from ear to ear. Sydney looked at me and just laughed and my mom asked me what I was so happy about. 

K- AARON CARPENTER ASKED ME OUT ON A DATE TO AN EXTREMELY FANCY RESTAURANT TOMORROW NIGHT AT 6:30!

MOM- Oh hunny that's awesome!!! What are you gonna wear??

K- I have no idea. Oh my gosh I need to go shopping! Mom can I please use my credit card to buy a new dress tomorrow?

MOM- Of course hunny but, I can't take you because I have a lunch I have to go to with your father and I already promised Charlie and Krysanne the car. 

S- I can take you to the mall if you want. Besides I need to pick up a the rest of my supplies for a school project. Carter and me were gonna hang out though so do you care if he tags along.
