Chapter 15: The Party

Kinsey's POV 

Aaron plays on the Varsity football team at our high school and his coach is throwing a big party this weekend. It's the weekend before the first game. Apparently he does this every year to get the football players all excited for the season. The football players get to invite whoever they want to the party, and Aaron invited me... AHHH 

Jack's POV 

So the big party is tonight and I am so pumped. I'm taking Charlie and I can't wait. I love that coach lets us invite whoever we want, but there is always some kind of catch with coach.... On sunday morning, the morning after the party, coach makes us get up at 8 o'clock and start running for an hour. By 9 we have to be in his back yard to eat breakfast. We clean up and by 10:30 we all have full pads on and jog to the school, which is only like a mile away from coaches house so it isn't that bad. We do drills and warm ups until 12 and then he feeds us lunch, which usually consists of pasta and water. After lunch we are back of the feild sitting down and coach goes over the old plays but pays more attention to the plays he hasn't really taught us. We run plays over and over until we can do them perfectly and always finish by 6 in the afternoon. He makes us shower and put on nice clothes and then call our girlfriends to go to dinner with us. We eat dinner and then go home. Most of the guys are all extremely tired by then so no one goes out. I think that's coaches plan in the first place. 

So the party is a good thing and a horrible thing.... 

Hayes' POV 

So I'm not in high school yet but I do have three older best friends who are... They all happen to be on the football team so I always go to the parties. Plus the coach is my uncle so I am invited to everything. 

I'm bringing Krysanne with me this year and she seems so excited but also nervous I mean it's a high school party and she is only in middle school. She'll be fine though cause she has three older sisters. 

Krysanne's POV 

 I'm getting ready for a party that Hayes invited me to. He told me it was just a football thing and that all the other guys are going to be there so I agreed to go. I didn't think I would really be the party type but I guess I am. I am actually really excited for this party.

I've never been to a party before and neither has charlie or Kinsey now that I think about it. The only person who has ever been to a party was Sydney and now she hates them so I don't know how Carter talked her into it...

 I guess I need to finish getting ready now...

Charlie's POV 

Ch- Hey Syd! Can you come here for a minute??

S- Yeah one second...

I was trying to decided what I needed to wear tonight for the party and I couldn't decide between two outfits and since Sydney is the oldest and has been to parties before I decided that she would be the best person to ask. 

S- What Charlie?

Ch- Which do you like better?  Should I dress up or dress down for this?

S- I would go with this one. I wouldn't go to dressy for this party. Coach is throwing it so It'll probably be like a bar-b-que or something along those lines.
