Chap 5: First Day of School CHARLIE AND JACK

Charlie's POV:

OMG!!!OMG!!!!OMG!!!!OMG!!!!! So today is my first day of high school ever!!!! Sydney and Kinsey think I have gone absolutely bonkers for wanting to start high school but what they don't understand is that I have been dreaming about this day for my entire life. I even have my outfits for the first week picked out... But I wouldn't expect this all the time because I'm extremely unorganized....

****flash forward to 7:50****

LOUISIANA PARKS HIGH!!!!

That's my high school! Ahhh! My face lit up when I saw the school entrance. I am starting high school!

I walk up to the front office with my sisters and tell the receptionist my name.

Ch- Charlie Horten

RECEPTIONIST- okay sweety. So all if the incoming freshmen must come to the front office before and after school. At this school we have a buddy system program for the incoming freshmen. Two freshmen are pared up together and have every class together. Most of the matches are coed but some aren't. It looks like you got a boy named Jack Gilinsky. You can wait for him here because he is going to stop by this morning to grab his final schedule. You can have a seat over there.

Ch- okay thanks!

Gosh I hope he is cute. I can't walk around with a weirdo as a best friend for four years. And I'm assuming we are gonna be best friends because well we have to be friends.

Just as I take my seat a tall handsome brunet walks through the double doors to the office. He went up to the receptionist and almost immediately looked at me. My heart melted. He's HOTT!

Jacks POV:

I walked up to the receptionist and she told me that my buddy was sitting in the chair behind me so I turned around and can I just say she is beautiful. Her eyes are this beautiful green blue color. I went to introduce myself.

J- hi I'm jack

Ch- hi I'm Charlie and your fine.... Did I just say that out loud??

J- yeah you did..

I laughed... She is adorable.

Ch- so what is our first class and how do we get there?

J- science with Mrs. Waters.

Ch- cool! Be my lab partner??

I laughed again.. She is so cute.

J- yeah of course. I don't think we have a choice anyways... Let's go!

***flash forward to the middle of science****

Mrs. Waters- okay kids today we are gonna talk about what we are gonna be doing this year and just talk amongst ourselves. Okay so this year we will go over the human body and dissect a frog. This is biology. So if you don't have a stomach for stuff like this I need you to speak up now..

No one raised their hand

Mrs. Waters- okay so dissecting the frog is 30% of your final grade. And now that you have all the information that I need to give you feel free to talk amongst yourself.

J- so you're knew here??

Ch- yeah I moved in a week before school started.

J- cool! I've lived here my whole life. Do you wanna maybe hang out tonight??

Ch- I would love to but I have to check with my parents.

J- okay! Well why don't you text them now??

Ch- okay I will!

J- so do you have any siblings going here?

Ch- umm yeah I have two older sisters and one younger sister in the 8th grade. Do you have any??

J- no I'm an only child, but I have three best friends two are older and one is also in the 8th grade.

Ch- that's cool! My parents said that I can hang out tonight!

J- okay let me text my friends to see if maybe they wanna hang out with us. If not we will be sitting around the house bored all night.

Ch- okay that sounds fine

***Jack and Carter's conversation***

J- hey what are you doing tonight???

C- hanging with this girl named Sydney why?

J- is there any way we could maybe make it like a group like thing? I really wanna hang out with this girl named Charlie and don't wanna be stuck at my house With her.

C- I mean I don't see what the issue would be let me check with Sydney because we are doing a project tonight but I'm sure it will be fine. I mean I'm already taking Sydney's sister Kinsey and Aaron with us.

J- okay we will leave you alone. I promise.

C- Sydney said it's fine so get her to meet us outside of her house at 3:30

J- okay... How do you know where she lives??

C- Charlie is Sydney's little sister. She lives across the street from me.

J- oh sweet! Okay I'll see you outside of your house at 3:30

C- okay see you then! Bye!

***Jack and Charlie's conversation***

J- okay so we are gonna hang out with your older sisters and my best friends after school today at 3:30. I hope that's okay?

Ch- yeah that's fine. Actually great. My parents will be more comfortable with it now.

J- okay so I'll walk you to your car after school today?

Ch- yeah that sounds fine!

Omg she is so cute! I can't believe she wants to hang out with me! I wonder if she likes me more than a friend! I'm so excited for tonight!
