"Are you ready to go and find out the sex of our beautiful baby?" Justin walks into the room as he shakes his wet hair into a towel.

I nod as if he can see me. "Mhm" I say as I chew my popcorn and m&ms.

He grabs his clothes and quickly changes into them before running over to the bed and leaning over to kiss me. He gets on his knees and presses his lips against my belly.

"I love you our little peanut. Can't wait to find out what you are prove mommy wrong." He says to my stomach.

I giggle and move off the bed.

"Vamonos" I say.

"Can you teach our baby Spanish? He'll be great at it." Justin looks at me and smiles.

I push him towards the door.

"Let's go."

I wait in the car waiting for Justin because, as always, he forgot his wallet at home.

When I see him running towards the car, getting completely soaked by the pouring rain, I put on my seatbelt and unlock the doors.

I always lock the doors in a car when I am by myself, even if for a short while.

"Ready?" He quickly gets in the car and looks at me.

"As I'll ever be." I say as he grabs my hand and places a kiss on it.

Not long after we pulled out of the driveway, we spotted paps trailing us. I understand that they are doing their job but do they really have to follow us everywhere.

The world does not yet know about my pregnancy but I have a really big feeling that they are about to once the paps snap pictures of us walking into a OBGYN clinic.

The rain is pouring and the more Justin drives, the more pap cars are surrounding us.

To our luck, the traffic lights have been all green and we have not yet had to stop.

I see the next light ahead of us, don't turn red, don't turn red.

A pap car gets on Justin's side of the car and speeds up in order to get ahead of us.

In an attempt to steer in front of us, the pap car bumps against our car, surely leaving a scratch.

Moments later, I hear a loud popping sound and as I look up the pap car is steering out of control. Right. In. Front. Of. Us. Seconds turn into minutes as the following events move in slow motion. The pap car is now turned on its side and we collide right into it.

I see nothing but pure whiteness.

A bright white light surrounding me.

I see no one else in this space but hear sounds that seem to be very far away.

Beeping. Voices. Beeping. Voices.

Where am I.

I no longer care about my surroundings, the place, the people, the beeping, the voices.

My veins turn ice cold, my lungs can no longer fill up with air when the next voice comes clearly and loudly banging on the door of this world that I am now living in.

"The baby. We lost her."
