If only

People wouldn't lie

If only

The world was in peace

There was no need for a gun

No world hunger

Everything was fun

If only

There was no war

Not a single murder

Neighborhood so safe

There's no need for a door

If only

People could communicate

Talk things out

Kids free to play at night

Running about

No reason to fight

If only

We could get along

No matter the color of skin

Culture

Or race

If only

People wouldn't judge

Bullies wouldn't exist

And if they did

The ones being bullied wouldn't budge

If only

Abuse wasn't real

Just a tall tail

Would never become the real deal

Something that we would never feel

If only

We would love our home

The earth

The very thing

That gave our life worth

If only

All our dreams would come true

That we would make it through

If only

We truly cherished the ones around

The ones that keeps our minds on the ground

Where we could always be found

If only

We could easily find our soul mates

Not have to go through all the pain
