I hate the smell of spirit and strong smell of cleaners, its burning my nasal track. I am always uncomfortable in hospital, no matter how posh it is. After all, who wants to see open wounds, hear screams and those deadpan and vacant look in people's eyes.
You'll think, I am a person with no regards for others feelings? Well to answer that; I have to say, I am not very delicate in handling other's feelings and hospital makes me a bit nervous, is an understatement.
Well...Well....Well...., here I am.
Room no. 504.
All of a sudden I am distressed and annoyed for being push into this meeting with Sambhav. I evaded any such meeting for past 7yrs. I still can remember the day as if a movie is playing.It was the month of october and we all gathered around my uncle's house for vijay dashmi. There was an edginess in the house and air was thick.
Suddenly, Sambhav came out of a room holding Sugandha's hand and announces that they both are a couple and he will not tolerate if somebody misbehaves with her. That was the only time I saw her with downcast eyes and limp gait. Nobody said a word and they went out.
Sugandha was his younger brother Rishi"s girlfriend or mate or whatever. But it was unlike Sambhav to play sly and cheat, definately its her doing and she is upto something. That was certain but what? He is not volatile like Rishi.Its definately serious on his side but what about her?????????
Sambhav returned late at night and when I asked him about it , he casually replied it is quite common for next door neighbours to fall for each other. I took it lightly but what I heard later shook me to core and was unable to understand how Sambhav a man of character can become slave to such a women. After that I never met either of them.
Today, I came here on request of Sambhav. He still has to explain why he wanted me to meet at hospital. I take a deep breath and open door to small room with single bed in it and on it is........
I can't believe, its sambhav!!!!!!!!!!!!!
