Dear husband,
I had another nightmare. I don't have them often, maybe once every two weeks.
Most of the time they aren't even nightmares, but instead just memories of the past. It doesn't make much sense to call them nightmares then, but when I'm sleeping I can't tell what's the past or what's the present, and I wake up expecting you to be by my side. And then it hurts all over again.
I'm going to send this letter out to you, then try for some more sleep, even if it is unlikely.
