~Lindsey's POV~

"Just ignore her," I kindly told Camryn. That hoe Que was fucking--he's done with her--kept on pointing at Camryn. She was with her friends when she was doing this.

As y'all know, my name is Lindsey and I'm Issa's cousin. I'm very friendly and that's how I was able to pull Camryn in as a friend. She was cool and each & every day we're finding something out about each other every day.

"Let's just go," I hurriedly suggested. And luckily, Camryn obliged 'cause I could tell she wanted to run right to Tanya and whoop her ass.

"Tanya is just mad because Que stopped messing with her to be with you and make something work," I explained.

Camryn and I went to the bathroom after leaving the courtyard. It was lunchtime too. I pulled my brush out to fix up my edges when Camryn walked in the stall to handle her business.

"What the fuck, Lindsey? What happened?" my other friend, Renee said coming in the bathroom popping bubble gum. Her and I been friends since sixth grade and I love her to death.

"Girl, I didn't do anything," I said. By that time, Camryn was coming out the stall and was making her to the sink next to me to wash her hands.

"Renee, this is my new friend Camryn," I introduced. "And, Camryn this is my best friend Renee."

"Hey," they said to one another.

"Are you alright?" Renee asked.

"You talkin' about what happened a few minutes ago?" Camryn asked.

"Yes."

"Oh that was nothing. That chick was having staring problems."

Then out of no where Tanya and her friends came in the bathroom. I already had a thought that they were gonna do something so I went on and took my lil earrings off 'cause I was not gonna let them jump Camryn.

"What's up?" Camryn said stepping up to Tanya.

"You think you can just take Que from me? Really?" Tanya asked moving closer too. "Whatever you think, he's gonna leave you to be with me again. Just watch."

"Child plz he was never with you. He just bangs you for fun so don't get the two twisted," Camryn snapped back not budging.

"Keep on saying that shit, bitch. Just watch yo back," Tanya threatened.

"Baby, if you think I'm scared, you gotta another thing coming so don't come for me."

Tanya and her friends looked all three of us up and down before they left the bathroom. Camryn turned and smiled at us.

"Whatchu smiling at, girl?" I asked.

"Because I'm back to what's relevant," she said picking up her backpack. "But she better not run up on me."

"Oh shit. Camryn is a hood bitch," Renee said as we walked out the bathroom to our classes.

~Camryn's POV~

Now I don't like to fight, but at the same time, I ain't no bitch, ho, pussy, pushover, or none of the above so don't fuckin' come for me. I'm a cool, calm, and collected person, but when I'm feeling attacked, I react and do shit that might get me in a lot of trouble. Meaning that punk bitch Tanya better step the fuck back 'cause she don't fuckin' know me. Her and those weak ass hoes can get it any gotdamn day. She can run and tell some more of her friends and they can get it to and you and you and you and you, BITCH!

Now that my lil' rant is out the way lets get back to what's relevant. Que wants to take me out for dinner tonight. We aren't dating yet, but we're taking our time. But honestly, I'm ready for it, but he gotta ask me first.

"Que's downstairs waiting on you, honey," my mama said peeking her head in my door.

"Tell him I'll be right down," I said buckling my gladiators.

My mama shook her head and left. I'm wearing a pink lil' summer number and my silver gladiators with my hair loosely curled. I think I look good. After fixing myself up, I went downstairs and met Que sitting down on the couch. He stood up, approached me, and gave me a kiss on my left cheek.

"You look beautiful," he complimented me.

"Thank you," I blushed.

My parents told us goodbye and we were on our way to the restaurant.

Sorry I took so long with uploading Ch8 cuz I've been busy with college, job searching, and other shit . . .
