~Jacquees' POV~

For our date, we went to Legal Sea Foods in Downtown ATL and it was pretty good. They have some pretty good seafood. Cam was laughing so beautifully and I knew that my feelings for her has gotten stronger. She's so open to conversation and she doesn't mind talking about anything.

"Girl, why were you about to go nuts at lunch?" I asked. She looked at me confused, but a smile came across her face when she realized what I was talking about.

"You need to control yo bitch," she said sipping on her Sprite.

"She was never my bitch."

"You were only fuckin' her to get yo nut."

"I'm not messing with her anymore, Cam."

"I know. You told me that already."

"You believe me right?"

"Yes I do, Que."

I smiled, leaned in, and gave her a kiss on her cheek. I was ready to be with Cam and I'm gonna do my damnedest to be the best boyfriend I can be.

"Camryn, do you want to be my girlfriend?" I asked.

She looked at me and got bug-eyed on me. I know she was taken aback with my request and I really want her to accept it.

"Que . . ."

"I mean if you don't want to, I'm cool. But I would really like it if you would be my girlfriend."

She smiled at me and was like, "Ok. Rodriquez Broadnax, I'll be your girlfriend."

My head got so damn big to the point where I wanted to just get up and shout out to all of ATL. Camryn Smith is my girl now and I know you niggas hatin'. I gave her a kiss on her lips and then I hugged her.

"But you gotta get this bitch Tanya in check 'cause I'm not gonna sit here and take anymore disrespect from her," she stated.

"I'll talk to her if you want me too," I suggested cause I'm not tryna lose Camryn to no bullshit.

"I mean I trust you, but I don't trust her."

"We'll be all right. She'll get the picture eventually."

"All right now, Que. I'm serious."

~Camryn's POV~

Yes. It's official. Que and I are dating, ladies and gentlemen. I let my guard down on him and I hope and pray he doesn't hurt me like my last boyfriend did. Whether you guys noticed or not, I've been acting hard on Que in the beginning because I liked him and I didn't wanna make it obvious to anybody. But whenever I put my trust in a MF, they break my heart and leave me there to mend the pieces of it. I haven't told Que yet and to be honest I don't want him to know. 'Cause I don't want him to think he has a crazy, emotional girlfriend. But I know in order for me to be with Que the right way, I gotta let go of my hurtful pain once and for all. So after dinner, Que and I went to a lit park and I'm gonna just tell him.

"I'm glad we're dating," I honestly say to him.

He smiled his beautiful smile and said, "I am too. Come here."

I leaned in and he gave me a kiss on my lips. I giggled. Wow I'm really happy to be Que's girl, but I still gotta tell him what was up.

"Que, remember how in the beginning I was so mean and rude to you?" I asked.

"I remember that very well," Que said laughing. I was laughing too.

"Well I liked you, but I didn't wanna get too attached to liking you and then you hurt me. I've been through a lot within my past relationship and it caused me to push people away in a sense."

"Well let's talk about it." Wow Que was open to hear my situation and I'm not so nervous anymore.

I began, "Back in Birmingham, I was dating this guy named Allen. He was my everything. I've known him since I was ten and we started dating when I was fourteen. I thought we were gonna be together forever with the way things were going. When I was sixteen, I thought we were good, but I've been hearing things like he's cheating on me and he's messing with my best friend. But I loved both of them and I didn't believe the rumors. My ex best friend, Les came and confessed to me that everything I've heard was true. I was so hurt. Then she said she was pregnant by him and since then it's been over with both of them."

"Damn that's fucked up," Que said. "Did you know for a fact she was pregnant?"

"Yes. Her and Allen are together now."

"That's some hoe shit for real, Cam."

"I know. I cried everyday about it. I had cousins tryna fight Allen. He just broke my heart. Then other people I would come across, I liked them and then they would do something totally bad and I just put the block up on people."

"Well damn."

"I just don't wanna be hurt again, Que," I said wiping my eyes. I started crying thinking about my pain all over again.

"Just know I won't do that to you," Que said and I believe him.
