(Winter's PoV)
I opened my eyes expecting the bright light from my window to wake me up, but there was nothing. Just darkness. I looked around, and there was still nothing. I couldn't move, but I was just there. Floating in nothing, in darkness, but I didn't feel like I was losing any energy at all, like I should've been, since I was a day angel. "H-hello?" I called into the darkness, my voice was quiet and it cracked a bit, as if I hadn't had a drink of water in days. "Ah~, so you're finally awake?" a familiar voice said, and I could feel their presence near me. It was her. "W-what do you want now?" I asked, and I got laughter in return. "Winter, I think you know what I want," she said, coming into view. "I want what's mine. What was rightfully given to me." I shook my head. "I don't know what you're talking about, so stop bothering me and just go away!" I cried, and she growled. It sounded worse than an angry wolf or something like that. I shivered. "Oh Winter, if only you knew, but it seems your brother is still lying to you," she said walking around me. "He's not only lying to you, but your mother as well, and almost everyone else who knew your father." "Stop bringing him into this!" I cried more, but the tears I shed went to blind ears, as she didn't care about me. "Siare and Joseph are hiding things from you. Don't you want to know why?" she continued, and I didn't dare answer. "Still afraid are we? You need to learn to trust yourself more." "Stop calling yourself me! You're not me, I'm me! You're nothing like me Dawn!" I yelled, and then I gasped realising what I'd done. Dawn smirked, and her violet eyes brightened. "It makes me happy to know you'll finally acknowledge me," she said. "However, you are forgetting that we're the same." "N-no-" "Ah well, we'll work on it, for now though, I'll let you do whatever it is you think you're doing," Dawn cut me off before I could disagree, again. "While you're up though, try to find out the truth, alright?" I tried to speak, but she snapped her fingers and disappeared.
I gasped jumping awake, remembering why I had the dream. Dawn was inside me, somehow. She was a demon of sorts, and once or twice a month she "checked" on me. She claimed to know some truth I didn't, and I told myself to not believe it. At the same time, there was a nagging feeling in me saying to believe her. Maybe it was her trying to get me. She always was. Dawn wanted control. I couldn't do what she wanted. 'I thought you didn't care anymore?' she said, and I shrugged. "I don't know really," I responded. "There's nothing now." I looked into my mirror, with Dawn starring back at me. "So then, you don't care about finding the truth." she smirked. "Why do you keep bothering me with that? It's nothing!" I said annoyed. "I want you to know it, and I'll make you do it if I have to." she said, her violet eyes becoming more pink and red. "F-fine! Just stop!" I said grabbing my head. She smirked. "You're so easy to break, what a weakling." "J-just tell me where to go already!" I groaned. "Go find your brother, and we'll talk." Dawn instructed, and I got dressed and did as I was told.

"My friend has a cabin around here somewhere, if he's home I'm sure he'll take us in." I told Ari, and she nodded. "C-can we take a break first? My legs hurt," she said sitting on the ground. I nodded. "I'm just worried that they'll find us." I said and Ari nodded in understanding. "It's way too early now, they won't notice our disappearance until later, when it's breakfast." Ari said laying on the ground. "It's been so long, since I've actually walked. I feel so energized, but at the same time it hurts." "It's hard to believe I've only been there for a week, it feels like I haven't been outside in forever." I said. Ari nodded. "For my life, I've probably been in there for a short time, but yes, it did feel very long." she looked around and then stood up and stretched. "We should get going now, the sooner the better." I nodded in agreement as I stood up and waved for her to follow me. I hoped that Trace was back.

'I can't find him, I don't know where he'd be,' I thought, and I could hear Dawn groan. 'He's here, I can sense him.' she said. 'Try the basement.' I sighed. 'I can't, it's locked. I don't know where the key is.' 'Leave it to me, remember?' I rolled my eyes and went to the basement door. 'Now open it.' Dawn said, I could tell she was getting impatient. I turned the nob, and to my surprise, it was unlocked. I walked down the creaky stairs, even though I tried to be as quiet as possible, it was impossible not to make a noise. It was dark and I could barely see a foot in front of me. I put my hand on the wall looking for the light switch. I flicked it on, but there was nothing. The bulbs had been smashed. I sighed and took of my sun necklace and held it above me and it began to glow brightly. The basement was supposed to be used for in case demons attacked us, we'd be (mostly) safe. Dawn was right about the basement, as it would be an ideal place to stay since he needed to hide for a bit. "J-Joseph, are you down here?" I called into (what seemed to be empty) basement. "Come out of here, you wimp." Dawn said, and I covered my mouth in surprise of what had actually came out of my mouth. I walked forward a bit hoping to brighten the room a bit. "Winter, what did you do?" I heard Joseph say, and I stopped. His voice was cold and he sounded mad. His question sounded more like a command. I shivered. "I-I came looking for you..." I said quietly. "Who's with you?" and I blacked out.
