(Winter's PoV)

I yawned as I walked into the store and went up the stairs to my room. It seemed Siare wasn't home yet, so it was just me. Just me in the quiet house. I was so tired I didn't even think about food, and plopped onto my bed and fell into my dreams. The bad dreams that would await me in my sleep.

I opened my eyes slowly, why I'd woken up was beyond me, by I was up. I leaned up and was about to get out of bed when I heard something quiet. I stopped and stayed quiet, listening. "Siare, be quiet, you'll wake her. I just need to talk for a moment..." I heard a familiar voice say. Were they talking about me? "I know, but what did you mean by 'I've done something bad,'?" Another voice said, which I assumed was Siare. "I-I...and they're free now." I couldn't hear some of what he said, but at that moment I didn't care, because who was down there was my brother, who was supposed to be on his way out of here. I had to cover my mouth to keep myself from making a noise. What had he done?

(Night's PoV)

I was awoken by the sound of jingling, and the cold breeze that came with it. I looked up tiredly at the direction of the noise. At a hooded figure holding keys. They noticed that I was awake and began unlocking the cell. The door opened, and they stepped aside for me, as I stood up slowly. Was this a dream? A joke? I walked toward the cell door, and took my first step into freedom. I was free! I looked at Hood (as I'd decided to call him) and held my hand out for the keys. They hesitated a little, but gave them to me. I walked up to Ari's cell and unlocked it, the sound of the cell door made her jump awake and look at me, and her face melted into a happy expression. Ari stood up slowly and I helped her walk out of the cell. Hood lead the way out, and then he disappeared just suddenly. "Thank you..." I whispered to the air as Ari and I began to walk away from the jail, away from my village, away from everything.
