(Dawn's PoV)

I think you know very well who I am Joseph," I said turning to face him. Joseph looked furious. I smiled at him. "Unless you've forgotten me already?" "What have you done to my sister?!" He yelled at me. Any longer and I was sure he was going to slap me. "Oh nothing!" I said innocently. "Yet, of course." Joseph growled. "Ah~, don't get too upset, remember I'm just in control." I said before he decided to hit me, or Winter, rather. After all, I was merely controlling her body since I didn't have a physical form at the moment. "Just leave her alone! You can get your own without her!" Joseph yelled, and I'm pretty sure Siare heard him yelling too, since she came running down to see what was going on. "Payment, Joseph. I still haven't gotten my payment." I said putting Winter's necklace back on. Your father died, so now it's up to you, unless you want your mother to do it?" "I refuse. You killed our father for trying, no way am I having ANY of us do this." I chuckled. "He was a cheater, he didn't try." I said looking at Siare, her face was pale and she was looking at me with fear. "He was trying to protect us, and he wanted you away from us as soon as possible." Joseph said. "H-he was only doing what he thought was best for us!" Siare said, she was clearly upset. She was having trouble speaking as well. "Well, without it, you aren't getting your precious sister back without me," Siare glanced at Joseph with concern. "Furthermore, if you don't want your mother to know, I'd suggest telling EVERYTHING to her, and doing this quickly." They stayed quiet. They almost didn't react when Winter fell to the floor.

(Siare's PoV)

I jumped and caught Winter just in time so she didn't hit the floor, she was gone. "What do we do now?" I said looking at Joseph. He stared at me with a blank face. "She...she's done it." "What?" I asked standing up with Winter in my arms. "She's got Winter now, if we don't do something, I'm afraid she'll hurt her." he said, and I nodded. "I agree, but what can we do, I can't leave here, and you're a fugitive, you'd get caught!" I said, and Joseph thought for a moment. "It's not the best choice, but if we leave at night, then we can get out of here safely." he said. I gasped. "Do you know what waits out there for angels like us? We won't survive at night without protection! In case you haven't forgotten, I've never been outside of home before!" I cried. "I know, but this is our only option. If we don't we risk losing everything." I sighed. "Mom went out again, and won't be back until tomorrow evening. If we leave tonight, we won't get caught." Joseph hugged me and then told me to pack. I took Winter to her room and put her on her bed. He was right. She was going to destroy her.

"Joseph, Siare, where are we going?" Winter asked rubbing her eyes. "You'll see, just keep going." Joseph said not looking back at her. 'He's really determined to get rid of Dawn...' I thought. I looked back at Winter, who was looking at the sun on her necklace. She was probably wondering why we were out so late and why she had to come as well. She looked up and we made eye contact. Definitely what she was thinking. I looked up at the moon, it's silver glow was lighting the way for us. I sped up so I was next to Joseph. "I just want to know. Why did we bring Winter with us?" I asked, and Joseph looked down at me, and shook his head. I feel like it would be best if we showed them her instead of just asking them. Seeing is believing after all." he said. I nodded in response. "Joseph! Siare, really, where are we going?" Winter asked from behind us. "You'll see when we get there. It's only a short trip." I said.

(Ari's PoV)

We finally made it to the cabin Night had told me about. It was one large room made for one person. It was somewhat dark, obviously usually lit by candles. There wasn't much furniture, just a few cabinets, a couch, and a table (with two chairs). It was probably used as a place to only spend a few nights and not as much as a home. I sat at the table while Night locked the door.

I was tired, and walking hurt my feet. Her friend was home, so she began looking through the cabinets for food. "Are you sure your friend will be okay with us staying here?" I asked, and Night turned and nodded at me. "I came here awhile ago, he's fine with it." she responded as she handed me an apple she found. It'd been a long time since I'd had real fruit. I didn't really like it all that much, since my sense of taste was much different than an angel's. However, since it was a lot better than what they gave us back there, I ate it. "We can't stay here forever, do you have any ideas?" Night asked sitting across from me at the table. "Well, I did know a family in another town or village over. They were really nice and took me in when I was younger," I said looking out the window. "But I don't know if they still live there." Night shrugged. "We can stay here for a few days and then we can try to find them." she was forming a plan already? I nodded in agreement. "Do you know where we can sleep?" I asked and Night shook her head. "I've only been here once." she said standing up and looking around. "I'll see what I can find."

After awhile of searching she found some mats that we could sleep on, as well as some pillows and blankets. "Can you help me lay these out?" Night asked setting them on the floor. I nodded and took one of the mats and laid it on the floor and adjusted it so it was even. Then I got comfortable and sighed. It was nice to lay on something other than the hard floor of the 6th cell. I fell asleep quickly.

I woke up sensing a new presence, someone unfamiliar. "Please get your sword away from me." I stated firmly, as I opened my eyes and looked at the sharp object pointed at my neck. The boy in front of me must've been Night's friend. "I won't talk to you if you threaten me like that." he glared at me and then lowered his sword, but didn't put it away. I sat up and shivered, I wanted to stay in the warm blankets longer, but I had to explain to whoever he was who I was. "I'm a shapeshifter, I came here with Night." I said looking in his eyes, at first he didn't seem to believe me, but after a long while of staring at eachother, he finally put his sword up. I could tell we probably weren't going to get along. Thank goodness Night woke up.

(Winter's PoV)

I kept the thin jacket I was wearing close to me as I wasn't used to the chilly air at night. You'd think that me, being named Winter would say otherwise, but no, I wasn't born with anything special. Then again, not a lot of angels were, so it wasn't unusual that I couldn't. Although, I wish could, like Siare. She could read minds. I didn't know how, but it was just something she did. We think she inherited it from dad, since he was able to as well. I looked up at the sky, the moon was just above us, it was lighting the way for us, it was unlike what I was used to, and it reminded me of when I got lost in the forest. I had my brother and sister though, and they seemed to know where to go. I trusted them to be able to get us to where ever we were going. Or well, I knew Joseph did. In the end though, I knew I was in good hands. "H-hey Joseph, can we stop? I can't go on." Siare said panting a bit. Joseph and I looked at her necklace, it was much dimmer than our's. That meant continuing on would have us und up like her. "Okay, We'll stop here. We'll continue in the morning." Joseph said putting his bag down. I did the same, relieved that I could finally could stop carrying the heavy thing. Inside my bag was food and water, along with other things; I was afraid to look inside in fear of the overpacked bag exploding. I looked over at Joseph, who was laying out a blanket on the grass for Siare. She was looking down at him, waiting for him to finish.I yawned and walked over to Joseph's bag and took out a blanket to lay out for myself. I didn't realize I was so tired until I felt the soft fabric of the blanket. I laid it on the ground and then grabbed another blanket and fell asleep.

"Such a shame you're too weak to continue," Dawn said and I opened my eyes and recognised the empty space. "I thought you were done tormenting me for awhile." I said bitterly, and Dawn clicked her tongue. "Is that what you see me as? You don't see me as anything more? What a shame..." she said messing with a piece of her multi-colored hair. "Why won't you just leave me alone?" I asked, and Dawn rolled her eyes. "Haven't I made that clear a million times already?" I shrugged. "We're stuck in the same body, and I still need you!" Still? What did she mean still? I was about to ask when Dawn growled and snapped, and I woke up.

'Someone's here, get your brother." Dawn instructed, and I sat up and did as I was told. 'I thought you didn't like him?' I thought and Dawn groaned. 'I don't, but since he's the only one who can handle it, I can only rely on it. Trust me, if I had my own body right now I'd do it myself.' I nodded in understanding, and went over to wake up Siare. I shook her, and she rolled to her side and then got up, She looked around for a moment and then pointed in a (seemingly) random direction. "He's there. Over there." she said, and I shivered. Dawn was right, and I didn't believe her. Maybe I should've been more open to her, but at the same time I should know better than that. I was taught that. The real question floated through my head as Joseph brought our follower over to our "campsite". Could I really trust Dawn?
