Chapter 17 - Not Talk About It

"Thankyou for today.." I smiled to Richard and he smiled widely.

"You're welcome beautiful."

"Goodnight." I said and waved at him. He nodded and waved back. He drove away and I walked into my apartment.

I met Richard like 2 months ago and he's a really sweet guy. He's a producer in one of famous TV show. We met through friends and just click right away. He's funny and just my type. I felt comfortable around him and not to mention that he can play piano so well. That made me like him more.

We're not officially dating yet but we know that we like each other a lot.

As for Joel.. I haven't seen him again after I went to his office. It's been 4 months and I'm slowly moving on. It's weird because it's like he suddenly disappears. There's no news.. no photos on the internet. 7 Golds Lifes and their kids always have been the hottest topic on the internet.

I cursed under my breath completely forgot that I will be moving out from my current apartment to a new small one. I need to pack a lot of things here and there now. I threw my body to the sofa to rest a little and decided to call Beth.

"IRENEEEEE!!!!" Oh my gosh.. She's in the club right now. I heard music blasting loudly at the background and she giggled weirdly.

"Where are you?"

"Volten Velton Veltosnlelwldhksosud" Gosh this girl is drunk.

"Are you okay? Beth?"

"Hey sexy.." I heard she said and I sighed.

"Beth! Don't even thin- who are you with?" She screamed suddenly and I sighed. Not again.. I got up and ran out from my apartment. I got down and take a cab to Vontel club. Beth often go there sometimes with her friends and I'm the one who will pick her up. It's a routine.

I walked inside after showing my ID. I got inside and started to look around the club to find Beth. My eyes roamed the whole club slowly.

"Where is Beth?!" I hissed and tried to scan again. I walked to the stairs and scanned the club again. I looked from the right to the left. My eyes widen.. instead landing my eyes on Beth.. it landed on Joel. He was kissing with another girl.

My breath got hitch and I looked away right away.

Why do I feel like he's cheating on me when he's not? Why do I feel like pulling that woman's hair right now? Why do I feel like I want to throw a glass to Joel's head? I tried to ignore the view and try to find Beth. I walked away and tried to look for Beth by migling with the crowd.

Suddenly someone grabbed me and I turned to see a drunk guy holding my arm tightly.

"Let me go!" I tried to let his grip go but he grabbed me so tight.

"Hey sexy girl.. What's your name?" He asked and I pushed him away. I walked away fast but still looking to the left and the right. I turned to the private rooms section and my eyes widen to see Beth.

A guy was pinning her to the wall kissing her neck when Beth was trying to push him. I ran and pulled the guy away. I grabbed hand and pulled her but suddenly the guy from earlier came to me again. My eyes widen and he smirked. He walked forward and we walked backwards.

I turned my head to the back to see the guy from earlier walking closer to us wih a smirk plastered on his face.

"You're cuter than him." Beth pointed at the blonde guy and I sighed. Now how am I going to get rid of these guys.

"I want you.. instead of him." Beth said and suddenly the guy who got Beth earlier pulled Beth away from me. He pulled her into one of the private rooms.

"Be-" The other guy got me and picked me up like a rice sack. He carried me out from the private hallway and carried me upstairs. I tried to wiggle out and tried to punch his back and everything.

"Joel!!!!" I screamed Joel's name, I don't know why I did that but I screamed his name. I had no choice but to called him.

"Joel!!!!!" I screamed again and again but the guy who carried me into another private room. He threw me to the sofa and now he's on top of me. I screamed and kicked his body but he's too big for me to handle.

He leaned down and kissed my neck and I tried to push him again but it's not working. His hands went all over my body.

"Please.. don't hurt me." I begged and he smirked. He kissed my lips and held my hands tightly securing it so I can't try to fight again.

Suddenly someone grabbed him off me and my eyes widen to see Joel. His eyes were full of hate and anger. He punched the guy without any mercy. He kicked, punched, elbowed and he kicked his chest until the guy fell off to the glass table. The guy fainted.

After that Joel turned to me and gave me a really cold look, I looked at him don't understand a bit why is he looking at me like that. He didn't say anything to me and he walked out from the door. I ran out..

"Thankyou.." I said and he ignored me. My eyes widen remembering Beth downstairs. I ran out from there passing Joel and go towards Beth's place. I ran there and found Beth sitting on the floor.

"Beth!" I called and she turned to me.

"You okay?" I asked and she nodded weakly.

"I'm sorry.. I wa-"

"I'm the one who sorry.. Let's go home." She said and suddenly someone poked me. I jumped in shock. I turned to see 2 bald guys standing behind me.

"Ms. Payton, we're here to escort you home."

"Who are you?"

"Mr. Cesborn sent us to escort you-"

"No thankyou." I cut them.

"Very well." With that they left me and I sighed. I sat down beaide Beth and looked up to the ceiling.

"Let's go home." I turned my head to Beth and she nodded weakly. She's drunk. I bet she can't do anything straight today.

"I saw Joel.." Beth mumbled right after I put her on my bed and put a blankey on her.

"Me too."

"He was kissing with another girl." Beth added.

"I know."

"I bet he already have-"

"Let's not talk about Joel."
