Chapter 4

A/N: so in this chapter, Ross is gonna start school and meet Brendon. Just pretend he's starting the band at Ross's age

                           *Ross's POV*

     I woke up, still flustered from the situation last night. I was definitely gonna have to talk to Frank but I'll take a shower first. Before I got in the shower I took my daily mirror check. As soon as I saw myself in the shower, I had this urge to cut but.. I promised Dad I would talk to him if I wanted to cut. The problem is, he doesn't know about me not eating and that stuff and frankly (wink wink) is like to keep it that way.
     So I hopped into my cold shower and washed up. Once I got out I dried off and got dressed:

     After I got dressed I fixed my hair, brushed my teeth and mentally prepared myself for the talk I was gonna have with Frank. I can do this. ROSS WAY.. YOU CAN DO THIS! I can do this right? Ughhh I'm gonna do it! I hopped downstairs to see Dad and Mikey in a deep conversation about comics. "Heyyy, Dad. Uhh would you happen to know where Frank is?" I said. Dad turned to look at me, pushing a piece of black hair behind his ear, "Yeah he should be in the garage." He smiled. "Thanks, Dad."
     I went to the garage and happily found him sitting on the step smoking a cigarette. He didn't notice me at first. Once I took a step closer he turned around and jumped. "Uh HEY Ross.. what's up?" "Frank I think.. you um know.. what up." I said cautiously. "Look, Ross,I'm sorry about that kiss last night. I was tired and although you really are gorgeous," I blushed at that, "we can't uhh.. let's just forget the kiss ever happened." "What kiss?" I winked with a clever smirk and he got up to hug me. "I'm glad we won't be awkward around each other anymore." He said quietly. "Me too."

                    *time skip to lunch*

     "ROSS!! WHATCHA WANT FOR LUNCH, PRINCESS?!" My dad yelled from the living room. I, of course, happened to be looking at thinspo. "UHH, I HAVE A UMM STOMACH ACHE, IM OKAY!" I yelled back. I couldn't eat. At least not right now. I did have a genuine question though so I went down anyway. "Dad, when am I gonna be going to school?" "Well actually I was thinking about enrolling you today so that you could go tomorrow. Would that be ok?" "That'd be awesome!! I need some new friends beside those losers." I pointed to Ray, Frank, and Mikey all in the kitchen doing whatever. Dad just laughed. "Well do you want to come with me to enroll you into high school today?" "Yeah!!"
     So we were off to get me into school. By this time it was Monday and we went during school ours so the high school was flooded with teenagers. One kid caught my eye though. He was cute and had dark hair and those eyes, man. Those eyes could put anyone in a trance. Sadly I had to keep walking. Dad and I got to the main office and he spoke to the secretary. While they were busy talking about dumb school stuff and paperwork, I was trying to find that boy again. And then out of no where he popped into the office without Dad or the secretary noticing. "Hey, are you new?" He asked me. "Uhh, yeah actually I'm gonna be coming here tomorrow for school." We both smiled. "Well I wouldn't mind giving you a tour tomorrow! Here's my number." He somehow managed to pull out a price of paper and give me his number. "I'm Brendon by the way, and you areee..." "OH! I'm Ross!" I said a little too excitedly. "Wait your name is really Ross?!? My friend, Ryan's, last name is Ross! That's so cool!" Then the bell rang and he had to go. "Well I gotta get to class but I'll see you tomorrow and text me. You can hang with my friends tomorrow!" "I'll definitely text you! Bye!"
     Wow, I just met a really cute guy.. and WE'RE FRIENDS!! I was so happy and got so caught up in daydreaming that I didn't realize Dad in front of my face saying we had to go. "Oh sorry." I said nervously.
     As we headed back to the car Dad looked at me with a confused expression. "Why are you so happy looking." He smirked like he knew the answer. "No reason.." "Is it because of that boy who just gave you his number?" My eyes went wide and I laughed nervously. "Maaaayyybeee.." "I'm cool with that, as long as he doesn't hurt you because if he does I will rip his tiny ba-" "DAD! We're just friends ok?" "Alright then. Well you wanna go school shopping now?" "Sure!"
     After a long rest of the day filled with school shopping, Dad and I were back in the car when my phone buzzed.

Bold= Brendon
Normal=Ross

Unknown number: hey! It's Brendon, Princess
      I blushed at that nickname and smiled.

Hey! Shall I call you my prince now?

Why yes you may, Princess😂

     I put his name in my phone as "Prince☺️"
Brendon put Ross's name in his phone as "Princess😘"

So wyd, Princess?

Not much, I'm driving back from school shopping now

Well I'm excited you're gonna be in the same classes as me

Wait how?

I requested for you to be in the same classes as me because you're new, but really I did it because when I saw you and I thought you were hot and you're actually super nice😳😁

     I was shocked that he thought I was hot and nice. I mean look at me! I'm gross! But I'm glad cause I think he's hot and nice too

I may or may not think you're hot and nice too..

Aww really, thanks, my sweet peasant!

Oh wow I thought I was your princess😭

lol I'm jk😂 you'll always be my princess! I gtg though, my moms calling me, I'll see you tomorrow, Princess

     And with that our text conversation ended. "Who were you texting that whole time?" My dad asked. "I may or may not have been texting Brendon a.k.a the kid you saw today." He just smiled as we pulled up to the house. Dad took all the bags although I offered to take them plenty of times. Ahhh my life doesn't actually suck right now. I have a great family, and maybe even a soon to be boyfriend!!
     Dad and I burst through the front door and I took the bags up to my room. As I was coming down all the guys stared at me in shock with a little glint of mischief in their eyes. "Rossy has a boyfriend, Rossy has a boyfriend!!" They all sing-songed. "Guuuuuyyyys! He's just a friend, and 'Rossy' seriously?" We all laughed. I really hope this happiness lasts.

A/N: hope you guys enjoyed. I added Brendon in there because why the fuck not. I also decided to keep the Ross/Brendon thing going. I have high hopes for Bross or Rendon?? Idk their ship name yet but I will soon😂
