He was staring down at his phone when he had received an incoming call from an unknown number. As he was debating on whether or not he should answer, his finger betrayed his thoughts and swiped to answer after what seemed like too long.
"Hello," he answers as he holds the phone beside his ear. After a while of waiting for a response and not received anything, Justin repeats himself, "Hello? Who is this?"
After a few more seconds of waiting, Justin hears a shaky voice speak to him, "James? Is that you?"
Sitting dumbstruck, it takes a minute for Justin to realize that he has only ever lied to one person that his name is "James". As confident as he possibly could, Justin asks, "Lucy?"
"It's really you?" he listens to, as he correctly assumed, Lucy, cheering into the phone.
"Wow," mumbled "James". Not knowing what to do or how to react, Justin does the only thing he could possibly think of in such a short amount of time. "Hey, I gotta go. It was nice talking to you though. Peace."
Before waiting for Lucy to say goodbye, Justin quickly ends the call.
"What the heck just happened?" Justin wonders.
