[ hello! I am back...well sorta. Sorry for taking such a long break but I think it did me good. I am not sure if I will be updating regularly just yet but you wil get updates now and then so yeah. x ]

*Liam's POV*

"Why is he here?" Louis hissed as he grabbed my arm and dragged me back to the door; I rolled my eyes at Louis, retrieving my arm back from him. His glared just hardened at that forcing me to glare back.

I got that. I got that he was just looking out for me but this was becoming too much. Louis couldn't loathe Zayn forever; he had to forgive him some day.

"Louis stop! He is only here because he says he wants to be on the look out, make sure I don't end up getting hurt or whatever" I answered, as calmly as I could. I wasn't totally okay with Zayn being here. Frankly, I really wish he'd keep a firm distance between the two of us because I can't help myself around him. My walls end up crumbling and I forget every single rule I created for myself.

I don't want to be with Zayn again; not just yet.

"What? He is your bodyguard now?" Louis snapped.

"No! look, he just wants to help. And he probably familiar with how this all works-"

"Yeah, obviously - was your stalker wasn't he?" Louis growled, choking out a bitter laugh. The anger flashing in Louis' eyes almost made it impossible for me to recognize just who Louis was; he looked so angry and...so frustrated.

"Get over it, please. I can handle this" I pleaded.

"Just don't fucking end up getting hurt. That's all I want" Louis snapped before he brushed past me, entering the bright lights and the screeching music of the club. I sighed, taking a moment to breath in the fresh air before following Louis' steps.

It wasn't hard to spot them; Harry and Louis stood by the bar while Zayn was sat in an empty corner with a drink his hands. He spotted me almost instantly, our eyes locking for a split second before he called me over. Without hesitation, I followed his order and walked over to his table trying mybest to block out the club music which was only making my headache worse.

"You okay?" Zayn asked, leaning over the table; as much as I tried avoiding having to look into his eyes he wouldn't let. There was something different in them now; the hazel colour of his eyes was softer - more comforting and it hadn't been there before. Maybe, this was Zayn being honest.

"Fine, you?" I asked.

His answer didn't come for another couple of seconds as he stare at me for a split second as if debating on whether he should believe me or not. With a loud sigh, he finally looked away, averting his eyes to the dance floor instead.

"I am honestly sorry, you know?" Zayn whispered. It was easy to miss; his quite words over the loud, blaring music of the club but I caught it. "If I could go back and change it, I really would" I nodded, not really sure on what I should be saying.

Should I be telling him about how I will never be able to trust him again, must less forgive him? Or should I be telling him to forget about it, not hurt himself over what already happen, that he made a mistake, a mistake I probably will never forgive him for?

I didn't know.

"Just please don't hate me..." He hand inched forward to mine, lacing our fingers together. "You don't have to trust me or forgive me just please don't hate me. Feel anything towards me but hatred. I can't live with the thought of you hat--"

"I don't" I interuppted.

"Huh?"

"I don't hate you" I stated. He smiled; bright and huge. It almost made me want to smile back but I kept it in. Whatever feelings I still had for Zayn, they were to be kept caged in. I couldn't ever let them out, let them get in the way.

Because Zayn and I were done.

For the best.

"Thanks" That was all Zayn replied with.

"We should get to the others" I said as I stood up. Zayn nodded and I followed him as he made his way towards Harry and Louis who were now joined by a blond guy I didn't know off. But Harry seemed a interested in him and it almost made me forget about my problems. At least Harry found someone for himself.

I didn't want Zayn to be anywhere near Louis at the moment but I couldn't be alone with Zayn; I didn't trust myself with him - I don't want to end up making out with him like earlier, again. I craved Zayn - still did and probably always will but that didn't mean that I had to give in to my desires.

Zayn and I were better off without each other.

"Who's that?" Zayn gestured towards the blonde lad I had spotted earlier.

"Don't know"

Harry's immediately turned to us when he saw us coming and passed me a bright smile that I some what tried to return. Louis, catching on with Harry's actions, glanced up at us but his face was blank which I was very thankful for.

"Harry you wanna introduce me to blondy here?" I asked. It was me trying to ease the tension around. It worked because Harry nodded and turned to the blonde lad - who might I add in, had gorgeous blue eyes.

"Guys, this is Niall"

[ think it will be good to end it there ;) sorry for any errors/typos ]
