(Wow. If you can't tell, this is Darkstalker, Clearsight, and Fathom. I have no words. This is freaking beautiful. Just... wow. Don't even comment, just... applaud.)

"I should go..." I muttered to Kinkajou as soon as she came back from the fruit pile.

"No!" Kinkajou cried. "We're eating together! You haven't even finished your gross disgusting carcass thing! Sit!" She nudged me, and I was forced to sit down or fall down. "Just for five minutes." She pleaded.

I wanted to argue, but there was a river of anxiety flowing through Kinkajou's mind - 'Don't leave me alone, please stay and be my best friend - That I couldn't resist.

"Sure, alright." I purred, and I was rewarded with glowing pink scales.

"Could you tone that down?" Umber asked Kinkajou as he and Turtle joined us, each of them carrying a fish. "I mean, it's an exciting color that I can't say I've ever seen before... but it's a little-"
"Bright?" Suggested Turtle. "Noticeable?" Tried Umber. "Eye-ball scorching." Offered Qibli, making me laugh.

"This happens when I'm happy." Said Kinkajou, not bothered. "But if you'd prefer something more sedate-" She turned a violent and vibrant shade of lime green splashed with violet spots. I wailed and covered myself with my wings. My eyes were melting.

"AAAH!" Qibli yelped, covering his eyes.

"I don't really know you, you might be totally serious right now." Umber said, squinting so as to be able to protect his eyes.

"Nah, I'm just kidding." Kinkajou said with a giggle, bumping my side again, making me fall down once more. "I can be totally ordinary and boring too, don't worry." Her scales shifted again, rippling into the same quiet brown as Umber's, and she gave him a wide-eyed "See, boring." Stare.

"Boring hasn't made it onto my list of words to describe you." I said.

"Winter!" Shouted Kinkajou, making me deaf in one ear.

The IceWing paused in the act of sweeping past us majestically. "Yes?" He said frostily to Kinkajou. (More puns, I'm so proud \>_</    )

"Don't you want to sit with us?" Kinkajou asked hopefully. (I ship it like FedEx.) "I mean, since we're your winglet now, and everything." A wave of ice blue shimmered on her scales, then vanished. I tried and failed to stuff all the dreamy thoughts from Kinkajou's head into a raindrop.

Winter looked down his nose at the RainWing. "Absolutely not." he snapped, and stalked away toward another IceWing perched on a ledge slightly above the rest of the dragons.

"He's so tortured." Kinkajou sighed happily, and I stared at her oddly. "You're a little weird." I pointed out, and Moon chuckled. (I actually forgot about her! Fail, nice job me. Heh, sorry.)

Kinkajou was about to reply when a hush fell over the cave. I twisted around to see Anemone pace slowly through the door with her head held high, followed by a thin, quiet looking SandWing.

'The SeaWing princess.' Rippled through everyone's minds.

"Oh thank the moons." Anemone said, spotting the net of fish, her voice clear and high. "I haven't eaten since we left Queen Moorhen's palace yesterday." She stepped delicately around a SandWing who was chewing something on the floor, and surveyed the remaining small fish that hadn't been claimed yet. A number of MudWings, SeaWings, and SkyWings were clustered nearbly, brown and green and red scales side by side as they ate.

"Hmmm. I'd like that one." Anemone said in a sickly sweet voice. She pointed at a giant gray fish with a pale, speckled pink belly. A NightWing - one neither me or Moon knew -  already had his claws around it and was lifting it up to his mouth. He paused and stared at her.
