Vanished

*2 years before*
"Follow me, Jeremy!" I shouted while laughing.
I skipped through a field of flowers as I felt hands wrap around my waste.
"Jeremy!" I laughed, turning around. My smile faded as I looked into a soulless face.
That's the day I vanished.
*Now*

"Jeremy?" she playfully played with my shirt.

"Yes?" I asked, looking into the face of a beautiful blonde.

"Come home with me," she winked.

"Let me run some errands," I lied.

Everytime I had a girlfriend, there was only one face that came to mind.
Ari.

It had been almost 3 years since she disappeared without a trace. Most of the people in this town had given up. Everyone was telling me to move on, to have a new life, that she was gone, and that she wasn't coming back.

I had almost given up, but then I looked at her memorial.

She was gorgeous with long, wavy, brown hair. Her smile lit up the world.

Why would anyone take such an innocent girl?

And the worst part is, I was there when she
Vanished.
