I flipped through pages of my photo album. Ari was in most of the pictures.
I sighed and closed it.
How do you know that was really Ari? I kept asking myself.
What if they killed Brittany?
Well, they haven't killed Ari and it's been three years.
One more day until I had to decide.
Ari or Brittany?
I loved Ari more, but was she worth it?
Could I really just give up an innocent girl's life after she trusted me?
I rubbed my forehead and groaned.
This called for some advice.
I got up and grabbed the car keys. I headed down East Avenue to get to Charlie's house.
When I got there, I trudged up the stairs to the door. I raised my fist to knock, but he already opened the door.
"Hello, son," Charlie said.
It had been 3 years since I saw my dad. I used to come over here with Ari and when she disappeared, I stopped.
"I need some advice," I said, staring at him with a pokerface.
"About?" he looked at me curiously.
"Ari," I said, and with those words my dad motioned for me to come in.
