It's been a somewhat good 3 months since Chris and I's divorce. And Travis was there through the whole thing.
Miranda called and asked me last night if I wanted to go clubbing with her and Connor, so I'm getting ready for that.
I'm wearing a maroon tight dress that goes down to mid-thigh. My make up is neutral but with some dark lipstick. I put on my black heels and go out to meet Miranda and Connor there.
Once I'm there I look around. I can't find them. That's weird. They texted me 5 minutes ago saying they are here.
"Katie!" I hear someone yell over the music.
I turn around to see Connor waving me over. I walk over there and sit in the booth besides Miranda when Connor sits on the other side. "Hey guys."
"Hey. Drinks are on the way."
"Ok."
And just like that, the drinks are here. "Hey sorry it took so long." Travis says sitting besides me.

After a hour I decided to start dancing. I'm dancing with one guy when I see Travis shooting glared at the guy. He catches my gaze and he blushes. I wink at him which makes him blush even more. I laugh at him and I dance with a few more guys before I go sit down again.
We all talked some more about what's been going on before Connor and Miranda get up to start dancing which leaves Travis and I alone. We just talked and laughed. He was starting to cheer me up since I've been depressed lately. Then that's when we started kissing.
He gets up and takes me to the dance floor. And I admit, he'sgood dancer. There is not a lot of people nowadays who can really dance. Everyone twerks or dabs. It's disgusting and weird.
But the only thing I know is that this was one of the first times I have ever went clubbing. It was like a double date.
Travis ends up falling asleep so that I have to take him home with me. It was actually very easy to get him into his room with a little help from people.
He later wakes about twenty minutes within getting home.
Travis walks in the room and says," What time is it? My head hurts."
"Ha. That's a new record. You've been asleep for 20 minutes and you already have a headache. You barely even drank anything!"
"Just get me something. It's killing me!"
I laugh at then get up to go get him some pain killers and coffee. It may be 12:00 in the morning, but this helps a lot with headaches. At least for me.
"Thank you Kates." He says taking the pills and drinking the coffee. He's the only person who I let call me Kates.
"Anytime." I say getting my self some coffee.
"So what are you doing next Friday?" Travis asks me sipping his coffee.
"Nothing really. Work from 8:00 to 12:30. Probably just gonna watch movies. Why?"
"Just wanted to hang out. I get off at 4." Oh yeah. He works at a mall. He and Connor co-own a shop. Not only he owns a shop, he helps out with security.
"Um, sure. 5 here. Just watch some movies?"
"Sounds good to me."
"Ok. Either you can sleep on the couch or my room. It doesn't matter. I'll just sleep on the other."
"You don't have to do that ya know. You can sleep with me."
"You're sure?"
"Yeah."
"Ok then..." This is going to be strange. We're sleeping together. And we aren't dating. And I just had a divorce.
But one thing I hope is Friday goes well.
