Katie Pov

I woke up to the sound of children laughing and playing around. Forcing myself, I get up out if bed, and walk out of my room to see a huge mess in the kitchen.
It was obvious that Travis can't cook. There was batter everywhere, kids were playing with there breakfast, and the pancakes were burnt.
"Good morning." I said which scared
Travis.
"Good morning Katie. Why are you doing out of bed? Get back to bed." He said pushing me back to our room. Geez.
I look around at the plain white walls of our room. We have pictures of our family together, us when we were engaged, and Camp Half Blood stuff.
One day we will show our kids, Alice (age 6) and Brady (age 4), Camp Half Blood. But for now, all they can do is stare and wonder about what it is and why it's on my wall.
Then soon, we'll have another kid on the way. I was planning to tell Travis today since its my birthday. So it'll be my gift to him, even though it's my birthday.
Burrowing myself deeper into the pile of blankets, I wait for them to tell me I can get out of the room.

Mouth open, wide-eyed, I can tell he is trying hard not to cry tears of joy. Suddenly it seems like he has finally come to his senses because his expression changed quickly.
"Yes!" He said picking me up, spinning me around. Putting me down, he starts kissing me all over my face.
I start laughing at his silliness.
He looks at me in the eye, smiling, and says, " I love you Katie, and I always will."
"I love you too." I say smiling back.
It seems like just yesterday when I left camp, graduated, married, divorced, engaged. Then I figured out my father died and his mother died a few years ago.
But now, even though we've been together for years, we still have a long road ahead of us. Just not as many bumps as before.

I know I know. It's short. But I do plan on editing these chapters. I want to change a few things and make the chapters longer. I'm honestly not very good at describing things and telling a story, so once I get better at things like that, I will edit everything.

But thank you to who ever is reading this! It's actually my first book I started.... So far I do not plan on writing another Tratie fanfiction.  But that also doesn't me I won't ever write another Tratie fan fiction.
