I started to walk to my class, but i forgot all my books in my locker. By the time i had gotten my books and was walking to the class the bell had already rung. I went into the class for being late. I told Mr.Goldberg that i was so sorry and that i forgot my books in my locker so i went back go get them. He nodded like he was listening but he still gave me a detention slip.
Flapjacks. My first detention.
After school was over i went to the detention room. i sat down and waited. 'The Gang' walked in. They were all talking then all of them stopped and stared at me. "What? Never seen a girl in detention?" I said. "I've never seen a nerd in detention before." said Wess. "Why did you get detention?" Wess said sitting in the chair next to me. "I skipped class." A bunch of oohs and ahhhs came from 'The Gang'.
Then Kyle walked in.
"Where's Mr.Goldberg?" I asked. "Teachers don't monitor detention anymore." Kyle answered. He had a can of soda in his hand.
So this is detention.
