Maddie's POV:
We arrived at the Falcon's vineyard around 5 in the afternoon...
A perfect time as the view is breathtaking because of the sunset that is slowly taking place right this moment...
We are greeted by grandma Rosa at the grand staircase at the entrance of the very extravagant countryside mansion...
"Hello lovely ladies...such a beautiful sight to finally see you again after a long time...", Grandma Rosa greeted us...
"It was my pleasure to come back here,Grandma..." I excitedly told her...
"So when is this family gathering going to start Grandma?," Giada asked...
"Later dear,your cousins and all the other guest will be coming a little bit later..." Grandma Rosa explained...
"So go to your room upstairs to get you rested and prepared for the event tonight and I will make sure a servant will fetch you later to garden for the banquet..." Grandma further explained...
As we follow Grandma Rosa inside the mansion, my eyes caught a familiar face...
It was Bourbon... He looks at me and give me a sweet smile and I nodded and smile at him...
Giada and I get to the room at the 3rd floor..
We entered the spacious room with a big four post bed,a sitting corner,and a reading nook and a door which is the bathroom...
As I sit on the couch, Giada spoke...
"So how are you feeling now? Does Lee ever visited or talked to you since your accident?..", she asked me
"He haven't actually,and I don't know why...it seems that he doesn't care for me anymore and honestly I don't care now either...but I'll make sure to properly end this because I'm sick and tired of thinking about him and what I saw that night..." I exclaimed...
"And what did really happened that night Maddie? You haven't told me yet... I'm here to listen dear..." Giada spoke again...
And I told her everything...all the tiniest detail of what I saw and how I woke up at the hospital...and the confrontation with Kalani in my office...
"That bitch!!! She just used you to get Lee... But Lee should have been honest with you,right? He should at least let you go if he is getting together with her... But he's a coward and a cheater..." She said furiously....
"Enough about them...Honestly I don't want to think of them anymore... We're here to have fun and be happy so let's get ready for the night..." I excitedly told her...
And what I didn't know that at the door someone is eavesdropping...And quite furious to know what really happened to me that fateful night...
