Maddie's POV:
The night started with a few opening remarks from the Falcon's family matriarch Grandma Rosa and her older son,Matteo...who is Giada and Bourbon's father...
They just thanks the attendees,which pretty much their whole clan...and the other guests who are the friends of the Falcon family,including me...
And then as soon as the speeches are over,the wine is served with the appetizers...
Such delicate plates of sumptuous small bites to whet our appetite... together with the vineyards own blend of wines...
As the night progress,the food and the wines are overflowing...
You can really see the attention to details with every course that is served...
They really planned this banquet with much passion for food and wines...
The music is played on the background...and as soon as the slow music starts to play,almost everyone get on their feet to dance...
I'm just here in our assigned table near the dancefloor,chatting and giggling with Giada when all of a sudden a hand was infront of me...
I slowly tilt my head up to see it's Bourbon's hand...
Asking me for a dance...I became speechless but it was a gesture I didn't want to spoil so I excused myself to Giada and grab Bourbon's hand...
"So how are you doing now?", Bourbon asked me while holding my waist as we dance...
"I'm good...nothing to worry about..." I answered him...
"But if I'm being honest with you, I heard you and Giada's conversation earlier...And I must say that you should think about what your next move after what happened to you...", Bourbon revealed to me...
I'm shocked but I answered him, "So you heard the whole thing? As I said to Giada,I will surely get to know the truth from Lee and have my concrete decision after that...if that's what you want me to say..."
"I'm not going to fight for a love that I think I lost long time ago without me knowing it... And I will be damned if I continue being naive and always the submissive girlfriend that Lee created me to be... I'm not that anymore..." I continued...
"So I guess,you and me can start being friends now that you're not that aloof to me anymore?", He said
"Maybe...but please know that I'm at this point that I need to fix some things with my life right now..." I exclaimed...
"It's good enough for me, Maddie..."he happily tells me...
And with that,the music changes and he lead me back to my sit beside her sister Giada...
