Maddie's POV
I was preparing a special meal for tonight...
I invited Bourbon to have dinner in my apartment tonight...
As the lasagna is in the oven, I prepare myself for tonight...
I immediately showered...
After showering I lather some of my favorite lotion...
Then,apply a very natural light makeup and put my hair in a messy bun with some strands hanging at the side of my ears...
Then lastly,spritz some of my favorite perfume and go straight to the kitchen again to check if the lasagna is done...
I was about to mix the salad when my doorbell rang...
I eagerly went to the door to open it to be surprise that Bourbon is right infront of me with a bunch of tulips on his left hand and a paper bag on the other...
"Good evening, I'm glad you didn't ditch my invitation to have dinner here...", I happily tells him...
"I won't pass the chance to see you, Maddie...", He replies
"I brought blueberry cheesecake and strawberries covered in chocolate... Just in case you didn't prepare dessert...", He told me as he follows me to the kitchen...
"You can wait for me at the dining table while I plate the lasagna and the salad... I'll put the dessert on the fridge first...", I told him as I went to prepare the food...
10 minutes later, I served the food and sits across his seat...
"How was your day, Bourbon? Has Giada visited you?", I asked but deep inside I'm nervous...
"My day went well... I did some field visit to one of our company's warehouse... And had a meeting with some future investors... And Giada didn't visit me but called to see if we have a plan for tonight..." He exclaimed...
"Well I really don't know why you invited me here all of a sudden...", He exclaimed with a confused look to him...
"I just have an answer to your question about you and me...I mean about us...", I nervously told him...
"What do you mean?", He asked still confused...
"I mean, I'm saying yes to you,for us to be a couple...", I told him straight...
And with that,he stands on his seat,went straight to me and stands me up and give me the tightest hug I have ever received from anyone...
"Ohh my god Maddie,you made me the happiest man tonight... I love you so damn much...", He said while still hugging me...
"I love you too, Bourbon... Please don't break my heart...", I told him while hugging him back...
And with that,he leans towards me and kiss my lips passionately...
