My phone rang. It was Jimin.
"Hi, Jimin," I said, smiling.
"Hi, Rosie," he said. "I'm sorry for disturbing, I'm sure you were about to sleep, right?"
"Nah~ It's alright. What's up?
"Nothing," He said and paused. "If this sounds weird to you make sure you hang up, okay?"
"Uhh, okay," I said, curious.
"I just wanted to talk to you," he said slowly.
"Okay~ That's fine," I laughed. "Why's that weird?"
"Well..." he started. "I don't know. It's probably only me that thought that because..."
"Because what?" I asked.
"Nevermind," he replied. "It's nothing."
"Okay..." I said. "You can tell me anything. I'll listen."
"Yeah I know, I mean yeah, thanks." he stuttered. After talking about performances, insecurities and other small things for about an hour, I heard RapMon tell Jimin that they should probably sleep soon.
"He's right," I said. "You should sleep~ You have that broadcast tomorrow."
"Yeah alright." He sighed."Goodnight, Rosie."
"Goodnight, Jimin."---
The next morning, I woke up early to get ready for my demo recording. After reading through the billion kakao messages left by the members, I washed up and got dressed. By 11:45 AM, I was sitting on the sofa of the recording studio, reading through the lyrics.
"You ready?" The producer asked.
I nodded and stepped into the studio.
So this is what it feels like to record songs as an idol, I thought. In total, the recording only took about an hour and a half. Adding the harmonies was the hardest part, but I did my best and it didn't take as long as I thought.
When I finished, it was only 2:30 PM. Should I go see them or not? In the end, I decided to go. After all, I was hungry and they said that we'd have lunch right after. After taking a taxi to the KBS building, BTS's manager came down to take me to the Happy Together recording studio. I waited for them behind all the cameramen and other staff.
"So," Yoo Jaesuk said. "How do you feel about being so popular? After winning awards at so many music shows, MAMA, even the Billboards! You guys must be so excited."
"Yes, of course," RapMon started. "We're always thankful to our fans. They're the reason we win those awards. We love them and owe them a lot."
"Yes, the ARMYs," MC Yoo said. "I'm sure many of them are wondering - especially the females - what are your ideal types? Jimin?"
"Umm," Jimin thought. "I don't think I have a specific ideal type, but I'd be attracted to them if they had a nice personality."
"Right~ How would you show her your affection towards her? Is there anything you'd do? Or is there anything that you'd do to make the girl think you have feelings towards her?"
"I like late-night talks," he blushed. "If she listens to me and really tries to understand me, I think that'd make me really like her."
"Ahh yes~" MC Yoo smiled. "The problem is, when you're married, like I am, the late-night talks are about dinner or problems with our marriage."
Everyone laughed and the older married guests shouted in agreement.
As you probably are predicting, yes. I slightly blushed when Jimin talked about his ideal type. Although there a BIG chance that his answer had nothing to do with me, I still... I don't know... There's always hope... Right?
