3 months later
I sat in the bathroom panicking. I read the stick that appeared to have three plus signs. I looked at the other one and it appeared to say the same.
I sat in my bathroom chair shaking. How was I gonna tell Jahseh? I didn't think he was ready. Was he gonna leave me? Was he gonna abandon something he helped create?
My mind was getting all types of thoughts. My stomach felt funny. My head was spinning. I didn't know when or how I was gonna tell Jahseh but either way, he was gonna find out.
I heard the knob twist on the door from the living room so I figured he was just coming in from work. Over the past three months, Jahseh's been working at a car repairing place and it pays good money. Meanwhile, I was working at a hair salon. It paid good too.
I heard his footsteps coming down the hall so I started putting the pregnancy sticks back in the bag and stuck it far back under the cabinet sink mainly because neither of us hardly went back there.
"Lauren?" I heard Jahseh yell my name?
I opened the door to see him standing there with his work clothes on. He noticed that I was wearing nothing but a long pink t-shirt with my Victoria's secret underclothes on up under. So a smile appeared across his face.
"Hay baby" I said nervously, "how was work?"
"It was ok. I'm just so damn tired. Did you cook?" he asked.
"Yea. I fixed you a plate of tacos, I sat it in the microwave."
"Alright" Jahseh said kissing me on my forehead then heading to the kitchen.
It was mainly my job to keep Jahseh happy. Almost every night he comes home from work, I'd have him a hot meal fixed. And I didn't mind either. He worked more hours than me. But I get paid more though.
Jahseh moved in with me a month ago and I loved it. I loved waking up in the morning looking over at him laying next to me.
"Aye Lauren!" Jahseh said calling my name.
"Yea" I yelled back.
"Can you run my bath water?"
"Sure"
I turnt the water on and let it run for about five minutes. I then added some bubbles to the water.

Jahseh came back into the bedroom with nothing on but a towel wrapped around his waist.
He pulled some boxers and some black basketball shorts out the drawer and slid both on his body. Then he came and laid behind me kissing on my neck.
"Jahseh I'm tired." I said.
"C'mon Lauren, I've been waiting for you all day. I almost jerked off thinking about you today" Jahseh said causing me to laugh a little.
"I'm sorry babe but I haven't been feeling good lately. I've been catching headaches all day, I just wanna sleep"
"Are you pregnant?" Jahseh asked as if he didn't want to have a baby.
"No I'm not pregnant. I just haven't been feeling good" I said lying.
I knew I should've told him the truth but I was scared. I was only 19 and so was he. We weren't cut out to be parents yet. But no matter what, I had to tell him.
"Fine" he said pissed off while turning over laying his head down.
I honestly did wanna have sex with Jahseh but I wasn't feeling well. Then on top of that, I had to be at work the next morning. This was really stressing me out because I didn't know how Jahseh would feel when I told him that I was carrying his child.
