That night I woke up at one of my friends house which was Redd. I noticed that I had fell asleep on his couch. I picked up my phone to look at the time which was 12:02am. I checked my notifications which turned out to be 0. I was surprised that Lauren didn't call or text me yet.
Now don't get me wrong. I loved Lauren to death. She was the only girl I could share my heart with. She pushed me to do better in life. She told me what I could do when I told myself a millions times that couldn't do it. And no I wasn't leaving her. I just needed some time to think. And this whole being a father thing really confused me. I wasn't cut out to be no father. Who was gonna watch the baby while me and Lauren were at work or at school. It was too much for me to handle.
I heard some moaning going on in the back room so I figured that Redd brought another one of his hoes by.

I got up and made my way to the kitchen. I opened the fridge and grabbed a can of cocoa cola. Lauren sure as hell loved those things.
I gulped it down while walking back into the living room Turing on the tv. I flipped through the channels til I landed on "Martin". That was Lauren's favorite show too. I didn't wanna think of her at the moment because I was still mad at how she kept a secret from me so I kept flipping and flipping til I found Dragon Ball Z. I watched the show for about 15mins til I heard Redd's bedroom door open. Coming out was a brown skin girl with red blond hair. She was hella skinny too. The girl wasnt all that pretty either. I guess u thought that because I felt like Lauren was the only before girl to me.
She headed down the hall with her hair a mess holding her purse and her jacket. As she was walking by, she gave a little freaky look. I angrily told her "Can I help you? I'm taken btw". She rolled her eyes and walked out the door closing it shut behind her. I didn't know what Redd was thinking when he picked her.
Speaking of red, he came walking out the room with nothing but some drawers on hold what appeared to be a bottle of beer and a cigarette in his mouth.
"Really? Is that the best you can do?" I asked him.
"Nigga, I don't want her. I just wanted the pussy, that's all." he said causing me to chuckle a little.
"Have you spoke to Lauren yet?"
"Nahh, and ian about to til I feel ready. Redd she could've told me about the baby. The whole time, Im just thinking she's sick from natural causes but the whole time, she's carrying my child."
"Well yea she did keep a secret and she did lie but I mean a lot of females do that. You did say that she was scared that you would leave her when you found out, which is what you're doing now my nigga."
"Thats not an excuse. Trust is the most important thing in a relationship. I don't know what the fuck to do now."
"Arent you gonna help her with the baby?" Redd asked me.
