(Okay readers! I thought about it for a while and I really wanted a girl, sorry :( and because more people were choosing a girl than a boy. Some of my readers were messaging me all types of names and that's when came across this BEAUTIFUL one that really touched me. Read this chapter to find out the name!!!!)
"Lauren, wake up!" I heard someone's voice call me.
"Wake up L Bug." The familiar voice said.
I squinted my eyes opening them to see my entire family surrounding me. I became confused on where I was til reality struck back and I remembered that I was in a hospital bed and had just given birth a couple of hours ago. I looked over to see my father holding my hand. My mother was on the other side with tears in her eyes but I knew they were from joy.
"Lauren sweetie, you're awake now." My mother rubbed my hand.
"W-what happened?" I laid there in confusion. The last thing I remembered was hearing a baby's voice cry and then everything went dark.
My father was about to say something til he was cut off by Dr. Norman. "Mrs. Wright, you fainted immediately after giving birth."
I began to panic, "Huh? Well is my baby okay?"
Dr. Norman smiled, "Yes, your baby girl is okay and very healthy."
I became calm for a moment til I didn't see Jahseh standing next to me. "Wait, where Jahseh?"
"I'm right here." He said walking passed my father holding our baby. I could tell he was too caught up to even hear our conversation we just had. He held our baby while smiling like the happiest guy in the world. He then leaned over to hand my baby to me.
Held her with both of my arms and stared her into the face. Tears soon ran down my face because of the bundle of cuteness that I was holding. She had a face of me and Jahseh, I didn't know who she looked like to be honest.
"She looks just like you", Jahseh kissed my forehead.
"She looks like the both of us. But she definitely has your eyes shape, Jah", I said with a crackled voice. There were a few small chuckles.
"So Sweetie, have you thought of any names yet?" My mother asked.
"Well no, not yet. But I will soon." I didn't even care to try to think of a name at the moment holding my baby girl was one of the best moments in the world.
As I was in deep thought with my baby, I heard the door open. More joy came to my heart when I see Leslie, Kolbey, Sonya, Momma Amy, and Redd.
I gasped with excitement, "Oh my god." I said as Leslie and the rest of the gang made their way over to me. "Hey you guys."
"Hey love" Sonya said.
"You're dad called us early ahead of time when you were about to give birth so me, Kolbey and Momma Amy drove here immediately." Leslie said.
"I'm so glad y'all could make it. I almost thought you wouldn't show up to see you're goddaughter."
She laughed, "Girl, I wouldn't miss that for the world." She looked down and seen her in my arms. "She looks just like you, Lauren. She most definitely has Jahseh's eyes."
Everybody took turns holding her. Everyone was so excited so they and to take pictures. Leslie and Sonya began putting her on snapchat. My father took some good ones of me and Jahseh holding our baby, then me and Leslie who is the godmother. Then so on.
The doctor told me I could leave in two days. She also said that the reason I fainted was because of the pain I was in and I instantly blacked out once I pushed her all the way out. She said that, that happens all the time though.
