I was leaving out the building of my school.
I put all my book and bag into the passenger side of my car when I heard no other Jahseh voice calling my name. It's been two months since the baby shower and I was now eight months. Me and Jahseh still aren't together. We were still distant from each other and would talk about us unless it was about the baby. He had excepted the fact that we weren't going to be a thing as far as right now.
He finally made it to my car almost out of breath from trying to keep up with me. "Damn." He said breathing hard as hell while he rest his hands on his knees.
I chuckled, "Ya know I wasn't even in the car yet so you could have just walked over."
"I know. So today is Valentine's Day."
"Oh really?" I pulled out my phone to check the date which was February 14th, "Wow, I haven't noticed. So what about it."
"Well if you didn't have anything already planned, I was wondering if I could take you out tonight."
"A date? Jahseh, I don't know. If this is your way of trying to get me back then it's not happening right now."
"No. This isn't my way. It's Valentine's Day and I know both of us wasn't planning on spending it by ourselves."
I rolled my eyes, "Well I wouldn't mind spending it alone. Valentine's Day is just another normal day where I could be sitting at home watching TV like every other and eat til I fall asleep."
He looked like he failed, "Oh okay. Well ill see you later." He turned the other direction and began walking away. Why did I just do that? All he wanted was a date with for Valentine's Day and I was just plain mean towards him. I mean we didn't even spend Christmas together so it was gonna kill me.
"Wait Jahseh!" He turned around. "I haven't had Chili's in a while." I smiled and so did he.
"I'll pick you up tomorrow at eight"

"Okay, how do I look?" I asked Sonya while standing in front of her. She was at my house helping me pick out an outfit for the date. It was 7:13pm so I didn't have much time.
"For the third time, you look hot. This is the fifth time you've changed outfits. You looked good all go times."
"I know but I want to look good tonight."
"For what? Are you and him planning on getting back together?" She smirked.
"No. This is just a Valentine's Day date. Nothing more. We're gonna go out to eat then he's bringing me back home."
"Well if that's so then why are you continuing to change outfits if it's just that? I mean any fool can see that you're trying to get back with him tonight."
"Sonya, I promise you I'm not. He asked me out on a date and since I didn't have anything else planned, I agreed to it. And aren't you suppose to be out with Trent. It's Valentine's Day." I said checking myself out in the mirror. I was definitely going with this outfit.
"Oh don't worry. When he gets home, the night will just began." I cringed my face.
"Um Ew. Okay now come do my hair." I said gesturing her over by me.
Sonya did my hair by putting half up in a ponytail on the top and letting the other half hang down in the back. She also did my make up. I checked myself out in the mirror one last time, admiring my look and shape even with this baby pump.
I looked at the time on my phone and it was five minutes til eight. He was gonna be on his way up here in a few. I hurried and grabbed my phone and purse. Minutes later, I heard a knock on the door. I started panicking.
