You strolled off the plane and into the airport. One earphone hung out of your right ear and you leaned against one of the white pillars, waiting for your Dad to pick you up. Your family wasn't the best family. Your mom and dad were both alcoholics, that's partially why you left. You tried to sneak your little sister out of that unstable household, but your dad caught you. You looked up and saw something that made you question reality. Your dad was standing with a sign that said your name on it, he was wearing a taxi drivers hat, and he was looking around for you.
'Oh dear god' You thought. You picked up your suitcase and carry on and trudge over to him.
"_____!" He said with a bright smile.
'What's happening?', You thought.
"Hey dad!" You said using a fake voice.
"Well lets go! You have a lot to look forward to _____," Your dad said.
The car ride felt longer than you remembered. It was just so quiet and awkward between the two of yo. But you couldn't complain, you were pretty awkward.
Then, as if a force from above knew exactly what you were feeling, it began to lightly rain. You giggled to yourself as you watched two raindrops race down the window. You did this as a kid and it crept a smile onto your face.
You got home to the strangest smell of cookies. You walked inside and had no clue where you were, they had redecorated entirely. The now tan walls where a soft red, the spot where the wine had stained the carpet was no longer there and instead replaced with hard wood floor. You spotted the black leather couch that used to be an ugly blue fabric one.
"_____! How we missed you!" Your mother called to you.
"I missed you two." You said giving her a hug. You kept your guard up still, everything might look different but the paint underneath is still there.
"Where's Bee?" You asked.
"HERE!!" You heard a familiar voice call from upstairs.
You turned around to see a tall young 13 year old running down the stairs with arms spread wide. You hugged her and took a second to look at her. She had {your eye color} eyes and shoulder length {not your hair color} hair that she inherited from your father. She wore a neon pink shirt, blue faded jeans, and a neon pink head band with a white scarf.
You cringed slightly at her fashion sense but smiled as she started leading you upstairs to your old room. It was just as your remember it. Dark purple walls with pictures of whatever hanging up. One or two fandom posters, band members faces, and pictures of some of the first Youtubers you started watching. You had a huge stereo on your computer table still with cd's from Nirvana, Blink 182, and My Chemical Romance. You popped an old MCR album in and started unpacking.
You were half way done unpacking when you remembered that it was Saturday. Stream Day.
You sprinted to your laptop, already unpacked. Your opened the door and walked down the hall to your dad's computer office and got the wifi code. You grabbed your headphones and logged on to Twitch TV. The screen read "OFFLINE."
'What?' It wasn't until you checked the time. Oh. You where so used to your previous time zone that you forgot they didn't start till 11 in Florida. You walked back and started again at your unpacking.
10:00 is what your clock said as you looked over. Still Twitch said Cry, Russ, Red, and Snake, were offline in big, bold, black letters.
You crept downstairs and asked your mom if you could borrow her car. She hesitated then said ok with that fake voice of hers. You got her keys and was off to WALMART!
