Dear Evan Hansen One Shots [open requests!!]

Ben x Laura

"Morning sleepyhead." Ben smiles at Laura.

"Morning." Laura grins back, sitting up. "Do we have anything to do today?"

"I don't believe so. Just you, me, Bella, and Spot." Ben says, referencing the couples two dogs of opposite genders.

"Want me to go make breakfast?" Laura offers, standing and fixing her hair.

"That would be lovely. I'll be out in a few minutes."

Laura heads out to the kitchen so she can start on breakfast. But on the way, she's stopped by the sight in her living room.

Her dogs, Bella and Spot, are in the middle of the room. However, around them is six tiny puppies.

"B-Ben!" Laura shouts.

"Five more minutes, Laura!" Ben whines in response.

"No, Ben, get out here!"

Laura hears him groan loudly before pushing himself out of bed. "What's the big deal?"

"Look!"

Ben finally opens his eyes. "Whoa, where did all those puppies come from?"

"Wouldn't I like to know." Laura mumbles.

The couple stands in silence- and in confusion- as they watch the baby puppies get fed by Bella.

"What the hell are we gonna do with eight dogs?"

Ben chuckles dryly. "Well, for one, we're gonna go get Spot neutered."

Laura punches his shoulder, rolling her eyes. "It's a bit too late for that, don't you think?"

"I'm still hungry."

This is just a short little one shot. I'm in the writing mood and I found a list of prompts that I really love.
