Chapter Eleven

Sidharth's POV

What?! He just proposed to her!! I look at Shraddha and she's just as shocked as I am.

"Adi, why don't we do this somewhere more private?" She says hinting at me.

"Why do you feel uncomfortable with him here?"

"Excuse me? I happen to be her friend." I say.

"Wait, we're friends?" She says.

"I guess so." I say.

"Really? I didn't know that we were-"

"Shraddha I just proposed to you!"

"Righttt. Okay lets go to my room." She takes him by the hand and they go upstairs.

"Urgh!" I say and throw my laptop on the floor. It crashes.

"I... I love you Shraddha." I admit to myself.

Alia's POV

"So what's the main reason why you've brought Varun here?" Mum asks me.

"Well I've only been on a few dates, never a serious boyfriend, so I wanted to have your blessing."

"Well he seems like a good guy. I give you my blessing just make sure you don't hurt my daughter!" Mum exclaims.

"Don't worry Aunty I would never do anything to hurt Alia." Varun smiles.

Just by him saying that gives me a good feeling about this relationship.

Shraddha's POV

I take Aditya upstairs into my room.

"What is that guys problem?" Aditya asks.

"He's just a friend Adi!"

"Oh."

"So um..."

"Shraddha I've been waiting for the day I can propose to you and today it has finally come. So..." Aditya says.

"Well don't you think we're rushing things? It's ju-"

He cuts me offf. "Shhh." He puts the ring onto my finger without me even saying yes to him.

I was about to take the ring off but he suddenly says "I've thought this through and it's the perfect time. I've even spoken to your parents and they're happy with it especially your dad."

What he spoke to my dad about this?!

"First of all Katrina is not my parent! And did you really talk to my dad?" I ask.

"Yeah, in fact he sent me here to propose to you! To make you my fiancé."

Why didn't dad call me first? At least to ask how I feel about this.

Kriti's POV

"Oww! The amount of times people have punched me in the nose, I think I'll have to get it checked." Tiger says storming out with Disha.

Sushant and I then go back.

"Where's Shraddha?" I ask as I see Sidharth.

"I don't know and I don't care!" He shouts.

"Okayyy I was just asking."

Alia and Varun then come. "Where's Shraddha Di?" Alia asks.

Shraddha comes downstairs and Aditya walks in the living room with her.

"Aditya?" Alia and I say in sync.

"What are you doing here?" Alia asks him.

"Well it's our 4 year anniversary today and I came to give your sister a surprise." He smirks.

"And what was the surprise?" I ask.

She shows us her hand. "I'm um...engaged." She says.

"What?!" Alia and I exclaim.

"We're going to get married soon!" Aditya says excitedly.

"Oh well congrats!" Alia and I hug Shraddha.

After a while....

Alia and I meet Shraddha in her room.

"Kriti, Alu what are you doing here?" Shraddha Di asks.

"Just came to talk."

Shraddha sits opposite us on her bed.

"Are you happy?" I ask.

"It's just happening so fast." She says.

"But your willing to spend the rest of your life with Aditya?" Alia asks.

"He said he rang dad and he's the one that sent him here so he could propose."

"The main thing that matters is your happiness. Not the fact that dad sent him.." I say.

"Di are you happy?" Alia asks her again.

Sidharth's POV

So she accepted his proposal. I go into my room and slam the door shut behind me. I've never fallen for anyone as I have for Shraddha. I had a few girlfriends but wasn't serious with any of them and I didn't feel much for them. But I'm not with Shraddha, and I have just fallen for her.

"I'm engaged." Her words repeat in my head.

Why is this happening to me?! I get frustrated and throw everything off my desk.

Shraddha's POV

"Di are you happy?" Alia asks me.

I then ask myself. Am I happy? Normally a girl should feel happy and excited when her longtime boyfriend proposes to her. But weirdly I feel no excitement at all.

"I don't know.." I say.

Sidharth admitted that he loves Shraddha! Will he let her get married to Aditya? Why isn't Shraddha sure if she's happy? Will she have second thoughts?
