Chapter Thirty Seven

Kritis POV

"You kept it from me! Alias pregnant?! Wow. Just because I'm the middle sister. You know what you can keep each other. People say sisters have the thickest bond, but obviously that's not the case here. I've shared so many secrets with you guys. You probably thought I would be hurt because of my problem. But I'm more hurt that you thought I would be so selfish that I wouldn't be happy for my own sister. Is that how evil you guys think I am? Wow."

"Wait Kriti!" I say and run after her.

"Kriti we knew you wouldn't feel bad about it. It's just... we only found out today."

"And Sidharth knows before me." I argue back.

"We were planning to tell you!"

I see Alia walk out her room and stand next to me with a confused look on her face. "What's going on?"

"Alu how can you keep such huge news from me?!" Kriti snaps at her.

"News?.....oh! We were-"

"Planning to tell me! I'm over the moon for you! Congratulations!" She hugs her.

"I'm so sorry Kri-"

Kriti cuts her off. "For bringing a life into this world? Look whatever's happened with me has happened for a reason. But what I'm excited about is the arrival of my niece or nephew!" We go sit in her room.

"Kriti the doctor said that surrogacy is an option for you....I'm willing to carry your baby for you." I say.

"Thank you...but I realised that there's not many kids that have a loving family out there. I think I'm going to adopt."

A smile forms on my face hearing my sisters decision. "Is that what you really want?"

She nods. "I'm gonna talk to Sushant and I doubt he'll have a problem with it and then we'll go ahead."

Rishi and Shiv walk in with Riya and Kaira following behind them.

"How may we help you all?" Kriti asks.

"Were hungry."

All us sisters share a look and chuckle. "Let's make our kiddo's some food."

"Not you! Your gonna put your feet up and relax!" Kriti stops Alia.

"Bu-"

"Kaira make sure Mummy dosent come into the kitchen okay baby?" I say.

"Okay Masi."

We head into the kitchen and put some fish fingers in the oven and fry chips. Soon we serve the kids at the table. As the kids eat I manage to make something for the rest of us to eat. We all eat and then change the kids into their Pj's.

Alia's POV

I pick Kaira up and put her on the bed so I can change her. She jumps around singing nursery rhymes. I manage to change her and then comb her hair.

"Is my baby ready for bed?" Her dad walks in smothering her.

"Story!" She exclaims.

"The amount of times I read her stories is uncountable. I've literally memorised them all!" Varun laughs.

"Good. So you can read them to the little one that's on its way." I put my hand on my stomach.

"Oh yeah! Kaira your gonna have a brother or sister soon!" He says happily.

"Yayyy!!" She jumps again. "I want a sister!"

I make her lay down and Varun and I lay on each side of her. "Now relax and fall asleep." I say as Varun reads her a bedtime story.

Kriti's POV

"Mum I need help with my homework." Shiv whines.

Sushant takes his homework book and puts it away. "Yeah and we'll both help you tomorrow. Get changed now."

I give him his pyjamas. Sushant hugs me from the back. "You okay?"

"Yeah." I smile.

Shiv gets into his bed with his toy.

"It's bedtime!" I say.

He pouts. "I wanna play!"

Sushant takes his toy. "There's time for that tomorrow."

"Goodnight my baby." I kiss his cheek and we both leave the room.

Sidharth's POV

"Rishi get changed now! Or I'll give your trainers back!" Shraddha shouts.

He immediately listens for once.

Shraddha sighs. "Your son is just like you! Lazy!"

I cuddle Riya as she watches cartoons on the tv opposite our bed.

"Done!!" Rishi exclaims walking into our room.

"Brushed your teeth?"

He nods.

"Right off to bed!" She states.

"Trainers?" He mutters.

"What?" Shraddha asks.

"Can I see my trainers please? Please please pleeeeaaaassseeee?"

She sighs and gets them out the cupboard. "Here."

Rishi's face brightens up. "I love them!"

"But your only getting them once you behave. Now get to bed."

He goes to his room.

Shraddha climbs into bed.

"These kids are hard work!" She rests her head on my shoulder.

I kiss her forehead. "Is Kriti okay?" I ask.

"She's gonna adopt."

"Is she?" I ask switching the tv off seeing Riya asleep in the middle of us. I tuck her in properly and she turns towards Shraddha holding onto her.

"I feel so bad that she can't conceive."

"Some things are not meant to be hey? Anyway I think you should calm down with the shopping love."

"I can't help it and I buy more for the kids not for me!" She states.

I chuckle.

"Who is Kiara?" She asks causing my eyes to pop out!

Will Sushant agree to adopt? Who is kiara? Will sidharth tell Shraddha the truth?
