I let out a sigh and run my hands through my hair "If you want, I can tell him for you"

"Well I actually stay close by. I stay in the apartments near Manhattan"

Darnell groans "Oh come on!" He leaves to get the door

I can hear him and whoever talking "Hey Tom..." I heard Darnell say

"I'm so sorry, Z. I forgot that he was coming" Darnell says from behind him

"Its fine, Darnell. I think I'm just going to go" I grab my bag that I set down earlier and stand

"Zendaya stay. I think we should talk" Tom says

Ell walks out of the room "Mama I'm hungry" I pick her up "We'll get some food on the way home"

She takes her thumb out of her mouth and points"Mama who's dat" She says

I look behind me and see Tom staring at us in shock. He starts to speak but can't. I look over at Darnell

"Z how about me and Claire go with Ellie and get some food?" I nod my hand "I think that would be best"

"Claire!" Darnell calls "Yes?"

"We're going to go get Ellie some food" My mom walks out of the room. She stops walking when she sees Tom

"Oh. Hello, Tom" He puts his hands in his pocket "Hi, Claire"

My mom takes Ell from me and they leave

I stare down at my feet "So..." "Zendaya who is that?" I stare him in the eyes and say the words I've been afraid of saying for so long "That's my Daughter"

"How old is she?" I bite my lip "Shes four years old"

Tom think for a moment. Then realization hits "I-Is she mine" I nod "Yeah, she is"
